2025 NFL Season Thread: Can Uncle Rico save the Broncos or will they be Nixed?
Greetings friends.
Those of you who know me know me as a Niners fan full of fantastical levels of vitriol and rage. I hav
This could be bad for the bears power rankings
Top 10 ranking definitely in jeopardy. Sorry mrbaseball.
Theyre back baby
Packers should fire lafleur and hire Harbaugh. Which I think is in play.
Great win for the Bears. Brutal loss for the Packers
Top 10 ranking preserved, congrats mrbaseball. Never a doubt, had the Bears to cover the whole way.
I’d appreciate someone telling me why John Harbaugh isn’t a sack of ass
I'd say, what makes Harbaugh a sack of ass? If he's fully to blame for all the recent late game collapses, ok, but he's never been responsible for the offensive or defensive play calling. His most egregious errors then are probably not overruling Monken when he got insane FPS against Kansas City in the playoffs or for not feeding Henry more in general.
Yeah, that's the crux of any discussion on head coaching. How much do any of these guys actually matter, shouldn't the discussion always be about the HC/coordinators who make the playcalls?
I do think teams definitely benefit from having organizational stability with a consistent head coach for a number of years.
it does seem smart to have an offensive specialist call plays, and a defensive specialist call plays on the other side of the ball (and probably have a decisions specialist help with time-crunch decisions), but then what does the head coach actually do during games? pretty sure i've heard this explained before, but i've totally forgotten
Josh Allen's updated career playoff ranks (min. 8 GP):
309.5 total YPG (#1 all-time)
2.5 total TDS/game (#3 all-time)
35-6 total TD-TOV ratio (#1 all-time)
Thank God half of NFL media spent all week talking about how disappointing he'd be in a hypothetical loss, tho.
bonkers throw...especially when you see where Cooks is when Allen releases the ball. 40 yards in the aie off his back foot while getting hit.
delighted to see Philly go...the only truly hateable team in this year's playoffs
can't see I like either the Pats or Chargers but at least one of them loses tonight too.
Most playoff games with 300+ total yards, 3+ TDs and 0 TOVs
Patrick Mahomes: 5 (in 21 games)
T-2. Josh Allen: 4 (in 14 games)
T-2. Tom Brady: 4 (in 48 games)
T-4. Aaron Rodgers: 3 (in 21 games)
T-4. Peyton Manning: 3 (in 27 games)
Only one guy on that list who hasn’t won the big one.

With Jax and Philly out, I will be putting a lot of interest into Allen's success. Would be awesome for him to go on a run. Otherwise, its a lot of film this off-season. Huge bummer of a day. Didnt even get to see any of that 4th quarter.

I would really like to hear your thoughts on what is going on in Philly. I know that probably won't happen.
