In the current news climate we see that some figures and events tend to dominate the front-pages heavily. Still, there a
I mean look at this. You can start to understand why I said what I said. You're an absolute drama queen that will take everything to 11 so when you say something so softly it speaks loudly to your perception of it
yup, thereβs no difference between making an initial post and responding to the umpteenth insult from a braindead poster
just like youβd react to βgood morningβ at the drive thru with the same intensity you use when your mother drunkenly screams at you to make something of your life over a microwave tv dinner, amirite
How many multi-page tirades has rickroll had with Luciom out of curiosity immovable object m unstoppable force
yup you had no part of this thread clogging spam - your perception is spot on as always
this is the kind of stuff i'm talking about, the stuff you say genuinely shows a complete lack of basic intelligence whatsoever
It's not clear at all to me. I really don't understand why you'd post that. It's even more puzzling considering you've said that you didn't know of the context considering the contents of the song and it's potential interpretation outside of your own niche, single example
Honestly, you had it nailed the first time. No reason to doubt yourself.
Rick posted it to delegitimize coordi’s critique while avoiding self-incrimination by using the Jewish bowling team as rhetorical cover. They’re “proof” that the antisemitism in question is either benign, exaggerated, or nonexistent.
Very standard stuff, as I’m sure you’re aware.
it was clearly to get ahead of "well your friends are nazis" by preempting that
mind you, the club is owned by a jewish man who appears in the video partying with the crew

so yeah, i'm clearly making stuff up, no jew would ever listen to or party to that song, let alone allow it to be played in the nightclub they own... wait...
i love you cn, but your tired "rick makes stuff up" spiel says a lot more about your narrow world view than it says anything of me
This crash out is spectacular.
i know you're talking about me, but i'm talking about the grander one that's led to the american voter choosing 8 years of trump - which is a disgustingly awful outcome that i don't ever wish to repeat
i think we should focus on things like poverty, infrastructure, fact that 8% of all adults in america have felony convictions and what we're going to do to fix these issues
instead we're just option b for the billionaires in our policy making and our primary method of communication is to platform and legitimize a few otherwise niche influencers as bogeymen to say "we're not them vote for us"
it's such a bad strategy that we've gotten 8 years of trump and instead of pausing to reflect we're doubling down on the outrage
everyone here should listen to this

Isnβt that entire crew of male influencers pro-Nazi despite being the type of people who would be first in line for the gas chambers? Iβm not going to pretend that I was following the argument but I doubt the club owner being Jewish is significant.
it's not, it was admittedly dumb of me to include the personal anecdote at all, let alone the geographic and religious background of the bowlers, since that distracted from the main points i was making.
but it is significant that the club owner was present. it's a strong data point that directly contradicts the absurd notion, pushed by ideologues detached from realpolitik, that i made it up.
if you can’t wrap your head around a jew in nyc dancing to the song, how do you explain a jewish nightclub owner partying to it in his own club?
iβm not confused, i understand clearly that i'm watching grown adults treat a tiktok dance like itβs the end of democracy
I really haven't seen anyone acting like that video was the end of democracy. I certainly didn't.
In my opinion, you are caricaturing the people who disagree you so that you can position yourself as the reasonable contrarian.
I also don't understand your admonition that people should engage with what Andrew Tate and Nick Fuentes say rather than criticize them for singing Heil Hitler. I don't think it is incumbent on anyone who posts yet another example of foolish behavior from Tate or Fuentes to engage with their previous comments in order to avoid this criticism. If Tate or Fuentes were obscure, you might have a point. But they aren't. They have both been the subject of numerous news stories, both short and long form. They both have substantial followings. The outrageous things that they have said and done in the past are well documented and have been widely criticized.

here you dropped this

i don't think we should talk about them at all
my only interaction with any of them at all was years back when bluegrassplayer posted a video of him talking about being at an orgy where he pointed out that the man clearly is giving his version of events, that we believe he was at the orgy but the way he describes his conduct just doesn't make sense - there were no politics involved at all - just pure lolcow how is this person real
then he hit the news for sex trafficking and then we have iron mong talking him up a bit
i don't think he or anyone adjacent to him are worthy of discussion whatsoever, by talking about them we elevate them and offer a platform for them
but... if we do talk about them, keep it focused on actual content not "omg they dance to kanye"

seriously, who cares if a few Jews like the song or think its a meme or like Hitler or something. Jews arent magical beings that solely decide what is cool or normal or acceptable. you dont need the approval of your Jewish friends to like something.
lol

When I go clubbing with my black friends every time a song with a hard E R comes on we all shout the N word in unison

that's not why this was brought forward - it was because we're dealing with people who see the world in black and white - so much that they can't wrap their heads around it and accuse it of being impossible

I think most people, or at least myself, dont find the song to be even close to the most disturbing thing in that video.

I don't recall anyone thinking in this way tbh. Nobody has refuted that someone can enjoy the song ironically if that's what you're referring to and surely some people get some level of enjoyment out of it that isn't rooted in approval of Nazism.
If it has come up in discussion it's been such a minor point of contention that I've overlooked it, because it's not really important + just that insignificant and not worth the sidebar. I again am not refuting any of your reality that you've witnessed Jews having a laugh at this song. It's not important or interesting (or at all relevant.) It reads as as an attempt to derail
I certainly believe that some jewish people might ironically or unironically enjoy the heil hitler song

this would have been a much better intro to the discussion that what you opened with
If I were engaging someone for the first time I'm sure I'd engage differently. I still think you're a miserable person and a Nazi apologist. You actually did it again somewhere within the last few pages. The apologist thing. The miserable person thing oozes through most of what you write

this was the heart of my op, that andrew tate is a disgusting person but him dancing to this song isn't what makes him disgusting
this is the umpteenth time we've had a lengthy discussion where you ultimately agree with my original point after many pointed attacks are exchanged
i wish you'd pay more attention to the content of my posts and the message i'm trying to convey rather than just rage bait and attack any little snippets you disagree with
you focus on the tiniest detail you wish to pick apart, like the inclusion of a personal anecdote, instead of engaging what i'm actually saying which after 12 hours of discussion you ultimately post once again that we are pretty much of the same mind on the core of my argument
It's amazing that you're an actual person

youβd manage to find misery even in celery
