I dont think taco bell is the right path for him. I think he would be better off pursuing a path as a chic fil a worker. Work your way up to general manager and take out a loan on the location and then keep profits after paying franchise tax.

Last few times I was there Resorts World had changed their parking fees and locals parking is free there again.
Even Caesars properties are free for locals now 24 hours a day except on Friday and Saturday I believe, at least until the end of February. I heard Fountainbleu recently decided to stop charging locals too.

It really is something special the way he is getting off on free food.
Its been a well known pattern for a super tightwad like him that he loves his free perks,and is boasting/bragging about it in his videos thinking its some showoff. He used to brag about his 4 free daily voucher drinks,to the point that he made fun of the drink prices and customers buying saying stuff like "is people really paying for this"?
When he lost this perk a while back he was so beaten down he was about to cry on camera in one of the videos,his world was falling apart.After he lost the 4 daily drinks his insane daily gorging at the EDR have been what he boasts about the most.In his warped mind he believes people think he is really cool when he is bragging about the sick amounts of free food he is stuffing down. He regurarly goes in to work 1 hour+ early,to "go to town" as he says in the dining room.
He also talked about in a video recently that he needs to know couple of days in advance if one of his fav food like cheeseburgers or sausages is on the menu-in order to prepare himself mentally and physically to shovel down absolute max amount of food. Mindboogling stuff.

But no, pman has no chance of aspiring to that. He has a Conscientiousness (the trait that best predicts success) that is probably bottom 1-5 percentile.
If I had to bet, I’d say he was the type of employee to call in sick a lot, and it’s why he is gravitated toward things like poker or gigs like editing.

For sure,lasting a year zero chance-he wont even last 2 months.
He have been living in Vegas for multiple years,and says his dream is to be a pokerpro.Struggles to log any kind of steady volume even when he can choose what pokerroom he wants that day and what time he feels like playing.
Give him a fulltime job where he has to show up at a fixed time for example 9-5 every day doing a job he think is boring,he is drawing dead.
I watched some videos about homeless people living in the tunnels recently. Those people have such a sad situation I could easily see them being jealous of people that are talked about on here.
Some of them have lived in the tunnels for years and when asked where they see themselves in 5-10 years, the answers were either dead, still living in the tunnels or “I don’t know.”
I would actually be happy for Pman if he consistently worked at Taco Bell for at least a few months without getting fired.

Pman, if you're reading this wishing you the best. The best and most intelligent thing you can do is:
1. Get a steady job. While the Taco Bell thing probably got under your skin, the point is that ANY job, even a fast food job would leave you 10x better off than your current path.
2. Have a routine that doesn't involve poker (work, exercise, social gatherings, church, hobbies etc)
3. Pay off any debts you have, pay off any debts to backers or loans, save up an emergency fund of at minimum 3 months full expenses.
4. If you absolutely must have poker, play some online tourneys or live cash.
4a. If you decide to put in real work studying and improve your game, maybe you can take some of your own hard earned cash and play bigger tournaments.
It’s pretty clear why it’s locked and it’s smart. He realized he’s a losing player and he will never be a winner. How can you have a Poker Goals and Challenges thread when all you do is lose when he gets around to playing?
Backer saw the writing on the wall after Sunday’s tourney debacle where Pman blew over a $1000 over 33 entries and cashed ZERO times. According to Sharkscope, he’s basically done playing. Backer cut him off obviously.
Notice how Pman meekly said he was done with that thread at the exact same time he’s done grinding tourneys. He’s just using the mean comments as an excuse. What else is he gonna post in his thread when he can’t play any more tourneys after less than a week? He can’t admit he got dropped that fast.

Solid advice. But seriously, you are wasting your breath just like anyone else who is telling him to get a job.
How much clearer can he make it, both with words and actions. He feels he is above having a regular job. Working a job is for suckers, and for people who don't have daddy paying for their condo and who knows whatever else.
What was the first thing he did when he came 2nd in the casino employee tournament? The ink on his cheque wasn't even dry yet and he had quit his job at Sahara. A good reliable source of steady income that he decided he didn't need anymore because he was set for life and was going to be a poker pro lol. This is one guy who does not want to work and the more people tell him to get a job the more stubbornly he will dig his heels in and do the opposite.
If the tunnel Nomads cannot get tier status then the best 5-10 year plan is for them to migrate to San Diego and join the homeless hotel program in San Diego County. They would get set for $298 of EBT plus cash payments each month and get a better return rate without risk of flooding in Vegas.
Los Angeles County is no longer advised for Nomads since there is no progress for a typical Nomad there unless the Nomad is a Veteran and gets Veteran Nomadic housing like Urban Nomad. For non veteran Nomads, the ideal location is San Diego County since it gives more comps than Vegas for those without tier status. There are decent storage units 10 by 20 drive in units for less than $100 per month there.
No offense but dealing poker isn't as easy as you guys seem to make it out to be.
When you are playing you are taught the chips have no value until you actually cash them out but when I dealt I took their value very seriously and it always bothered me when I thought others didn't. This is real people's money and while we all know you shouldn't gamble money you can't afford to lose we also know plenty of people who lose their entire paycheck every weekend and then have to struggle to survive.

Some things happen in the poker room that I don't get. Here's a short list.

I wouldn't tip that pompous clown. Imagine his breath after demolishing several plates of EDR slop. I would absolutely make a point of allocating his tips to the cocktail waitresses and chip runners.

Chips having value doesn't make it any harder.
I'll grant that dealing some crazy mix game with games you almost never deal takes skill. But dealing 1/3 nl should be super easy after a month or two.
Don't get me wrong - I'm glad you take it seriously. But that right there is a lot of the battle.
