[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?
Thanks.
Stupid ****ing site.
Everyone check your emails. Supposedly 50% rakeback this weekend and another deposit bonus. Not listed on promotions page on website though which is odd.
Has anyone else not got tier credits from December play? I contacted support and they basically said they will get back to me

I think I got mine. The only reason I think so, is because I kept my diamond elite status for 2026, and I needed the December credits to do so. Is there any way to check how many points you get per month? I never figured that out.
I'm a bit confused... The promo email mentioned having to opt-in to qualify for the 50% rakeback promo, but I can't seem to find the page. Has anybody been able to opt-in?

No. I got an email for a different deposit bonus so I did that. But when I clicked on the cash game festival one there is no promo code or anything

I donβt see it anywhere either. Also, according to their website, we should see a special βchallengeβ in the challenge section in our accounts, but I donβt see that either.
I just spoke to a chat agent to manually opt me in. Not sure what's going on with the management behind wsop.com but its significantly worse than normal.
Just in the past couple months...
Cardstrikes breaking
Rakeback levels not being correctly awarded
New year new bankroll promo never fully paying out
Promo's having difficult/no opt in options
Unresponsive support to emails.
Maybe they fully given up before ggpoker takes over the brand?
I used the chat bot and it said "The Opt-in" period has passed. LOL I can't with this garbage site. Online poker is a joke in the US.

Telephone support told me the same thing. They said we were supposed to opt in January 20-22. I told them there was no spot to do that at all. He said he would escalate it.
I think I figured out whatβs going on with the opting in to this rakeback promo.
I believe the opt in period is closed.
I think there technically was a pop up during the opt in period. HOWEVER, if you clear more than 3 levels per session, you would have not have seen it because it only shows 3 messages. So you would have had to log in 10 times if you cleared 30 levels the session before. Which is ridiculous.
This is just a theory, based on the fact that someone I know who only clears 1-2 levels per session did get that pop up.
How to move forward, I donβt know. I already called with no resolution. Does someone have a direct line to WSOP or maybe pokerfuse?
You can try the WSOP chat room and see if they will manually opt you in.
For what its worth, this is the email I received
"Tomorrow we are kicking off a week of Cash Game promotions. You don’t want to miss out on WSOP’s Cash Game Festival. Play your favorite cash games and participate in the festival promotions. Be sure to log into the client to complete the promotion opt‑in via Online Message.

I think youβre right. 888 software set to expire some time this year. GGPoker likely behind the scenes getting software approval in 4 main states and going to switch to different software. Possibly swap out Caesars Digital at that time. Bring in their own team. Itβs past half ass, lazy stuff. This crap doesnβt work. The promos, the glitches.
I am not so sure GG is taking over WSOP online operations right away. According to Gemini,
While GGPoker now owns the brand, the transition is a strategic partnership rather than a complete disappearance of Caesars' involvement. Here is how the "takeover" actually works:
1. Online Poker Operations
* **International:** GGPoker has long been the international home for WSOP online bracelet events. Now that they own the brand, this integration will likely become even more seamless for players outside the U.S.
* **United States:** In a bit of a twist, **Caesars Digital** has secured a license from NSUS to continue operating its existing WSOP Online sites in **Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania** for the "foreseeable future."
This means U.S. players might not see an immediate switch to the GGPoker software, though many expect an eventual upgrade to GGPokerβs superior tech.
* **Canada:** In Ontario, the platform had already transitioned to "WSOP.ca powered by GGPoker."
2. The Live World Series (Las Vegas)
* **20-Year Agreement:** Caesars isn't walking away from the live experience. They have a 20-year deal to continue hosting the flagship summer series at their Las Vegas properties (currently the Horseshoe and Paris).
* **Branding:** Caesars-owned poker rooms will continue to use WSOP branding, and Caesars retains "preferential rights" to host live WSOP Circuit (WSOP-C) events.
3. Leadership Changes
To ensure the brand's DNA stays intact, several key WSOP executives have moved over to the new NSUS-owned subsidiary. Most notably:
* **Ty Stewart** (longtime WSOP Executive Director) is now the **CEO** of the new WSOP subsidiary under NSUS.
* **Gregory Chochon** continues as the **COO**.
Summary of What This Means for You
If you are an international player, GGPoker is now essentially the "official" home of the WSOP. If you are in the U.S., you will likely continue using the current WSOP.com apps for now, but with the expectation that GGPokerβs influence and technology (like the **WSOP+ app**) will gradually take over the user experience.

Itβs certainly going to take time. But with 888 software contract set to expire in 2026, weβll see the first moves likely some time this year. NSUS said they would not expand WSOP to additional states in the short term:
βCaesars Digital β¦ will continue to offer the WSOP-branded online poker business in Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania for the foreseeable future but will otherwise be restricted from operating online peer-to-peer real-money poker operations in additional states for a specified period of time and subject to certain exceptions.β
This is likely to get their ducks in a row with GGPoker software approval in the 4 main operating states. So they can transition from 888 to GG software.
What we donβt want to see this year is a delay of some sort and an extension of the 888 software contract. Quicker they do the transition, quicker they will get additional states on board. Even smaller market ones.
I for one hope it takes a very long time, the software might be way better but the rakeback system on GG was horrible when I played it abroad as well as high raked games.
We are pretty blessed with 40% rb and generous reloads often.
I can see that drastically changing when GG takes over.
Iβm very happy to report that although I never was able to opt in to the cash back promo, i did receive the cash back today. So who knows, maybe opting in is not necessary, or they waived it because of the issues. So check your accounts!

I didnβt get anything, played NL and plo cash all weekend.
Did anyone else get paid out from the 50% RB weekend? Still haven't received mine - support said they would get back to me in ~72 hours.
I also did not see anywhere on the client or email to "opt-in" for the 50% rakeback weekend, nor the rake $300 and get $30 back.
My claim was also escalated to upper management and was told to wait 72h for a response.
I asked the support team again today about it. She said I was still eligible for the rake $300/30 back. I told her there is nothing on my client anywhere to opt in for this one. She told me to uninstall and reinstall the software. I did and it still does not show.
Since somebody else got paid out, it seems like everybody should contact them to get a payout. I raked over $800 that weekend.
