Anyone else ever lose it at the table? How do you guys deal with insufferable people/behavior?

I've never lost it, as in shouting or making wild threats, anything like that. Exactly how I deal with it, depends on the person.

Some people just don't annoy me or I'm able to ignore them. Some people I ignore as much as possible and change tables if they're successfully pissing me off. Some people I deal with by serving up sarcasm and mockery, especially if I think I can get the rest of the table laughing at them.

I think it's important to expect to be dealing with absolute shitheads, because it's a poker room. You should try to get ready to tune out morons. Again, table changing is a good idea. It's also a good idea to do what you did and leave if you feel like you're too tilted to play well or even play nicely with others.

Not sure what you’re referring to in this instance. Cards WERE shown. Hand was contested at showdown and the winners hand was properly tabled. The OMC’s complaint was that the dealer didn’t move the tabled cards to the middle of the table and that OMC didn’t see them. Dealer told him what the hand was, but he continued to complain.

Not sure if moving tabled hands to the middle of the table was actually atandard procedure or not. That’s never been an issue anywhere I’ve played - players routinely table hands immediately in front of them and nobody has ever complained. But the issue here did not involve a failure to show cards
