I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream

OZ is great, I rewatched it a few years ago.

by marknfw

I never watched Oz back in the day. I know it was great in it's time. Is there any chance it's worth watching now? I started it last night, but fell asleep halfway through the first episode, now in the cold light of day, I'm wondering if it's even worth watching.

i watched it for first time about 5-10 years ago and it held up

definitely not going to be the "omg how could they show that on tv?" kind of shock it was back in its heyday

but it started the careers of quite a few people so that'll be a nice little kick to see how a bunch of people got started

it falls off hard at towards the end, once you get a few episodes in that just don't feel good - feel free to bail

Cool, thanks. Will carry on. Lately I've been connecting things I watch by who shines in the last thing I watched. So after watching Whiplash last night which was really good, I decided to watch another JK Simmons show.

Did not know this was out, about to download S1. I'm stoked!
Gomorra: origins, about Pietro Savastano growing up in Napoli.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on Max, the first 2 episodes is like some kind of weird knight buddy comedy and then the next 2 episodes get much better with the latest really good and I'm in for the final push now for sure. Only 2 episodes left.

It's 90 years before the events Game of Thrones.

Starstruck is quite strong. The lead is very funny, good writing, + a proper plot. Reminds me of Fleabag.

Highly recommended from me as well. Great ending too. I love a good rom-com and it hit the spot.

I enjoyed the Queen of Chess on Netflix, but would like to hear AiM's opinion.

finished this last night ws decent enough 7/10 maybe

Perfect avatar.

Spider Man Noir is going to be available to view in black and white or color.

That sounds kind of gimmicky, just give us the best version. What is next, an option to watch without the added dialogue that repeats and explains the plot?

Which one is best is going to be subjective.

Which one is best is going to be subjective.

Big, if true.

I'm sorry, but this question is really stupid.

And if you read really really close between the lines you might notice I side with the director and not the Netflix marketeers

This has been happening for decades longer than Netflix has existed. Would you rather watch the theatrical release of Blade Runner or the director's cut? I know my answer.

The Final Cut.

The Black & Chrome version of Fury Road is absolutely amazing....I love both versions and I'm happy they released both.

I will be watching this weekend and will give my opinion.
