My Che Guevara comment wasn't a criticism of you. You compared Victor to his heroes. I simply was noting that it would be impossible for anyone to think Victor's behavior mirrored that of his heroes.

I was pointing out the maximal action that could be taken as a way to show that relatively speaking, leaving the US to end support for the worst genocidal state ever (his words not mine) would be relatively easy compared to the actions of the people that victor sides with. When you’re talking about advocating for mass executions, gulags, wide-scale class/race based terror, and authoritarian control of the populace, leaving a country is one of the easiest things to do. In fact, victor has advocated for people to bring guns to protests to violently oppose the cops. You’re saying that someone who has that criticism can’t be criticized for enjoying a cushy life in the center of empire?
Now it would be different if there was some strategic reason to stay, but it’s not obvious that’s happening (and lots of evidence it’s not strategic). But even if that was your criticism, saying that he is justified for staying partially because it’s too hard to leave is just painfully off the mark as a response.

I dont really get the why dont you move there take. Im pretty sure vic would sacrifice his life if Iran was able to magically build and drop a nuke big enough to wipe out all of the US. It has nothing to do with which place has the best amenities.
