Quantum Entanglement (A Love Story)
the thing is
- this is a silly little blog, on an important website that has shrunk
- there is almost no engagement between the views and the OP
- which is fine, i dont care
- it's just there isn't much to grow towards
- like why would i invest in making this better
- what's the point?
the only reason this blog exists is because i value personal excellence above all else.
i love winning, but i play poker to make reads and good plays.
i love writing, but i blog as a time capsule and something to look back on. not for views or for a book deal, despite enjoying the thought of both.
it also enhances my flow state. which, as an artist, is paramount above all else.
I punted twice and lost a buyin.
i've actually slowed a lot of things in my life down, my posting not included.
i've decided the readers enjoy the manic energy and i will continue as such.
the old Tuma had no social tact. he had somewhat good reasoning, and was wildly creative, but no tact. and thus no friends.
he also had histrionic personality disorder, and lacked empathy
Histrionic is when you're addicted to drama and need to be the center of attention. i think?
I was told a Moderator he was "sack-less". And I was the victim I had thought...

What's the point?
In my book, and, adding to the usual "One should always strive to do the best one can in everything one does", I suggest following the "One should always strive to do the best one can in everything one does, particularly if that which one is doing is not mandatory"; the eighth Rule of Life.
The good news is no respect can be lost, and I believe that is axiomatically truthful. I already fell on my face on this forum in infinite ways. there's almost nothing I could post ITT that would change any long-standing member's opinion of me.

i follow this rule intensely in my private life.
i will further consider your words.
for example, that longer post on the last page about Electric Guitar was high quality. less posts, more long-form, might be my ticket to excellence ville.
And there was only a 14 minute "break" between my last post and the guitar post. That's hardly a break, but enough to encapsulate greatness I suppose.
I'm always evolving.
Constantly trying to adapt.
Constant reflections of everything I can remember.
Giving self criticism and seeking external as well.
I hold myself to high standards. TBQH, I'm a semi-perfectionist.
Which is one reason that Chess drives me kinda nuts. I don't know how to think about the board when I'm playing, let alone where to move the pieces in a great way. There's just too much going on, and I am cognizant of that which I do not grasp.
Confusion is an awful feeling. If you could force confusion on someone, it would be abuse.
I'm glad this isn't a life or death situation.
In other words, not extremely serious.
It doesn't matter what I post in this blog.
This is a pure exercise in freedom and self expression.
2p2 20 years ago was the first place in the world where I felt that.
I will still carry the torch of represnting this website in a good way!
It really has been just under 20 years since I joined this site. Kinda crazy.
T- 1 hour until I venture out into the wilderness to scoop a guitar from the local shelter.

I see them everyday, we get along so why can't they? If this is what he wants, and it's what's she wants, then why's there so much pain??
