Could you tell more about increased rake? I don't see it anywhere to be talked about. It looks like it's gonna be the highest rake of all the sites, expect ggpoker? Because they rake pre flop.

6 card pot limit? Okay.
But why still no hi lo?
It's a good market, not a niche.
As for the "classic rooms", only WPN offer this game with a decent/good action, and considering that WPN rooms aren't present in a good number of countries, such as Germany.
Why doesn't CoinPoker offer it? Considering that GG Poker doesn't currently offer it.
If you started offering hi lo, you could still build player loyalty, should GG Poker decide to offer it in the future.
Being so strong, it would risk cannibalizing everything.

It's on their site but no one talks about it. 100% rakeback is all super for a month but what after?

For example, before you had 1.5BB cap at nl25, now it's 8bb. 😀

I think I saw a video by jnandez about the new interface and I even find it interesting. I understand that the look ends up attracting some recreational players, but it would be interesting if there was also the option to play with the old interface. I also don't understand the fact of pausing one promotion to start another. I think it doesn't make sense to pause the welcome bonus for those who had already started it or end it because they launched another promotion. At the very least, it should be a pause and not an end, in my opinion, and of course, this should certainly be announced, including the dates when this pause should occur, for example: after the end of the 100% rakeback, we will return with the welcome bonus.

Anyway, I've been playing Coinpoker for a short time and I really don't have many complaints. I've been enjoying the software quite a lot, even more than some of the larger sites I've played on previously.

I mixed up big blinds with dollars in my initial post but yeah, crazy rake. :/

Old CoinPoker rake based on two websites I found that listed the rake (the yellow cell is the one spot where the two websites differed) vs the rake changes currently listed on the CoinPoker website.

These rake cap increases in terms of dollars is absurd. Another poker room fail.

This honestly feels like a plot twist. If this is really how it’s structured, it was marketed in a pretty misleading way.

That’s a quick way to lose trust with your user base. It’s not too late to rethink the changes — especially if you’re keeping the 100% rakeback for March.

As it stands, this just incentivizes people to take advantage of the promo and then move their funds and action elsewhere. I don’t think that’s what you’re trying to accomplish.

Free rakeback in March. April 1st (April Fools Day) the site goes to one of of the highest rakes of any site. Anyone playing here in April and beyond will be a fool. Also, it will be hilarious to watch "always be hustling" jnandez try to dance around this ultra high rake as a Coin Poker ambassador like he did when hustling as a GGPoker ambassador and only truly acknowledged the high rake on GGPoker after he left.

The caps below $2/5 are pretty absurd. Even if you're getting 50% effective rakeback with an affiliate deal, the low and micro stakes caps end up being 2X industry standard.

Logged in on mobile and holy crap does coin really want to force those stupid comic characters on us? Without any option to put your own picture or to turn pictures off? Please please change this.

Those freerolls are also a complete waste of time with 300+ participants and 10 places paid no matter what. Its nice u guys putting up freerolls but please make them regular payouts and not such crapshoots.

So far experience pretty meager. Hope im able to login on pc at some point.

New software is on, but it looks worse than previous version. Somehow they have even less filters now. I can't filter out mob pots, nor heads up tables. also, it keeps lagging. It takes around 15 seconds for a table to load.

Is anyone else still unable to load the new update? It is half an hour since downtime supposedly ended and it still says "under maintenence"

I see other people have accessed the new software so is this issue local to my computer or is there a workaround I dont know about?

You'll need to uninstall the existing software and reinstall then it works.

A few questions:

1) Why does the animation look like it's for children? Are children allowed on the site?
B) Why is there no browser based player? Aren't clients like 20 year old technology?
III) If its 100% rake back, shouldn't there just be no rake? If your reporting revenue and gross discounts, could be significant reporting issue if you ever needed to talk to a bank...

I was now able to login after deleting the client again, restarting my PC and doing a fresh install.

Yes the old client does not update automatically (wrong info given here by the rep).

Graphics and everything serms ok'ish but i agree its a bit "childish".
Settings are only available with a table open which is a complete no-go.
And then those comic characters... I mean come on. Almost out of words to how unnecessary that idea is. Doubt i will play much on that software if its not even possible to hide them.

Overall feels like a downgrade to the old software and im not impressed.

crazy increase. can't imagine many people playing on there after this first month of 100% rakeback/promotions.
