Well I've seen this player almost always at 2NL. I've seen him at 10NL too, but not often. When I was playing 2NL I'd see him quite regularly.

I'm recalling a Phil Galfond video where he talks about a poker game with no blinds. And in that game you'd only play Aces, and no other hands. 2NL on Gold is pretty close to that. No straddles, and no antes means every pot starts with just 3 cents in it. That plus the fact that it's a raked game means there is very little incentive to play hands. People play hands anyway and that's why the games are profitable, but a bot doesn't necessarily know that. It could be just a rudimentary, basic ABC bot that's just shoveling money in with overpairs and hoping for the best. It may not be max +EV, but if it's taking any money at all out of the ecosystem then it's a problem.

Galfond is correct in such a scenario, but that scenario doesn't match the situation at 2nl whatsoever. 1c/2c with no ante features the same strategic implications as 50/100 with no ante, except for mild adjustments for the higher effective rake. Any bot would see it as another .5BB/1BB game.

You mention that maybe this preflop strategy "isn't max +EV". That's certainly true, but in fact, it's not +ev at all! It's a -ev strategy! Now, maybe this person plays well enough postflop to break even at nanostakes, but even that I doubt. I see no downside in a bot operator simply making their bot play a somewhat less incorrect preflop strat than this, if that is what was going on here. The nanostakes pool would definitely be none the wiser.

You mention the possibility that this is a rudimentary bot that is programmed to play a super simple (and objectively incorrect) strategy. I could see that being a thing in, like, 2006, but in 2026 I'm quite sure any bot out there is considerably more sophisticated than that.

This ain't a bot, bro. I've played with bots. None of them play this way. In fact, they all play somewhere between decently good to very good, because... that's the whole point of poker bots.

If you play mtts then I have a lot of your money. If you think that’s a real person sitting there 8 hours a day playing only AA and KK then good for you. Not sure why you have this idea that if a player is winning on a site they can’t find issues with it. I’m not like you, I’m not worried that shitting on the site is going to kill my win rate.

I mean, I've seen the videos where people can by bots from and there are a variety of bots and prices. From calling stations to OMC, to GTO aggressive, etc. So not all bots are the same and you pay more for bots with higher win rates. WPT Gold simply has too many games for the player pool realistic size. I've been on there for the last year and there is no way that that they have 50-100 ring games and each stake. That would be an insane amount of traffic if that was true. Some days you can just scroll forever through the micro to low stakes games. There are simply not enough online players in the US for that at any given hour

The only comparison would be sweep sites like stake or Global Poker. Global Poker isn't the best example since its banned in a few more states, mainly Cali, but you can't get 10,000x the player pool from that. At some point the numbers don't makes sense. Stake doesn't come that close either given their reach is far beyond gold.

Does the player actually play like the stats suggest? I remember people saying individuals weren't always playing like the stats suggested in the past, so maybe their hud system is glitched?

Is there a way to find PLO hand histories after you quit a session? Or does that only exist for holdem?

I played 3 hours last night with no spin.

I've had multiple times where I've gotten more than one spin in a night. Two nights ago I think I got 3 or 4 of the satellite tickets in like 4 hours. During the holiday dumps I got $5 two or three times in one night. Edit to add that so far tonight the same guy has won the top $500 prize as well as a $50 prize. Good run for him.

Played the last three nights for about 2.5 hours each night and no spins. During the anniversary chip dump played each night for about 2-3 hours and no spin opportunities. During the xmas chip dump I did get a few spins nothing more then 5 dollars.

Is it possible to reach support some how? my 70 year old mother got her account banned. She is asking me for help to resolve it.

Several $9 tickets (most of which I got my money in dominating PF and lost)
A few $1 tickets
Cash awards of $50, $10, $5, $2

The one SNG I won, they didn't credit me my next step ticket.

If you want to use your tickets - the easiest way I've found is to go to your wallet and enter directly from the screen where tickets are listed.

How do you know you are top 5 in volume?

Does anyoneknow how they calculate the income? It just all the withdrawls? Does it take deposits into account?

I'm having a glitch in the MTT where my hand is being auto checked post flop in some spots.

I just had a 2nd nut straight checked back in position on the river.

Has anybody else had this happen?

if the account is winning (even a tiny amount), its likely a bot, i dont think a human could play this way online for so long with no deviation and lots of people buy and test horrible bots and just leave the winning ones in circulation regardless. . if its losing theres no chance its a bot in the classic sense, meaning, its there to do something else for the bot team besides play poker. also, if its losing to you (likely) and its a bot, you should welcome this bot.

Happened to me many times in cash and MTT. Always on my Mac, never pc.
