[CoinPoker] - Official - Bringing the Game Back to Players

Regarding the rake, as you may have seen on X during this initial launch phase we are using the next month to gather real-time data and feedback ahead of a new rewards structure to be announced in April. The 100% rakeback promotion ensures there's no impact on players from March 2-15, and for the remainder of March we are also distributing all of the rake back to players in the form of promotions. More info will come on that closer to April, thanks for your patience.

Where all the PKO tournaments have gone? Don't see a single one in the lobby.

Some first thoughts

- with regard to preflop custom betsizing, theres no option to make it a specific amount of bb, only a multiple of the previous bet
- table settings are not being saved, ive turned ev cashout off 5 times and it still pops up every time
- theres literally endless spawning heads up tables, if a bumhunter wants to open sit 20 (or whatever the new table cap is) tables, they can currently.
- please can we have an option to turn off rabbit hunt, fish doing it every hand is annoying. Atleast have an option so if someone else does it, other plays dont have to see it
- tiling tables makes them cover the taskbar
- account balance only shown to 1 decimal place, so $9652 shown as $9.6k
- any chance of filter lobby for specific stakes?
- table settings menu pops up behind tables
- please can we turn off the "congratulations" pop up when you win a pot over 150bb

- no cascade tables option
- scroll up on mouse makes bet size smaller, vice versa

My balance is not showing fine , when i leavle the table i dont recover my balance and dont show well in my wallet

Do not like it. I preferred the old software, reminded me of PokerChamps/Betfair. This new software is gimmicky and toy like - I also dont like the lobby clustered. You couldve added the new features to the old interface, this feels like youve tried to turn it into GG, and the rake is absurd. Also, if not 100% RB, it is for 2 weeks, but with higher rake. I dont really get what any of this achieved. Can't hide casino even though I self exlcuded. meh

Is 100% rb effective immediately?

There is a feedback section on Discord. I can't believe they have launched with so many bugs. I feel like a software tester.

Here are some immediate thoughts after about an hour playing around with the new software, ofc there are gonna be teething problems but some observations include:

In game frustrations:

- when increasing bet sizes with scroll wheel, i need to scroll down (not up, which i would prefer) and I cant seem to find a setting to change this
- Enabling auto top-up appears to be table specific, I cant find a general/global auto top-up feature anywhere in general lobby
- When enabling top-up using table specific settings, it doesnt seems to work. When I lose 5bb in a hand and my stack dwindles from 100bb -> 95bb, it is not updated from the beginning of the next hand. I lost a 3bet pot and my stack dwindled to 60bb, I picked up AA next hand and got all-in but missed out on 40bb worth of value
- When tiling 8 tables, it forms a 2x4 grid, whereas the old client would form two columns of 3 and a column of 2. Two rows of 4 means that the central two tables can be smothered by the table either side which defeats the point of tiling them
- No option to cascade

Lobby observations:
- When selecting cash games, the feature which reports open seats isnt updating in real time, a table will display 5/6 seats filled, but I open it and find a full table with a long queue
- I appreciate being able to filter for only bomb pot tables etc, but I cant seem to filter them away - I'd rather play vanilla cash games without bomb pots but have to manually search through the list for these games
- There is no ability to choose a unique avatar, it appears I can only choose from the list of cartoons
- There is no central settings menu in lobby, I can look at my account settings but in order to change table themes/settings it appears I must open a game

Can we finally get update if external HUDs are allowed or no???? If not I am done with the site.
Also this updated software is an insult to the players. Crazy bugs and missing basic features. Clearly there was 0 testing of this software.

I only checked this at play money tables, because I didn't dare to play for real with a software that works so differently.

Software
- it is way slower, tables take longer to open. Previous soft was lightweight, this one is not
- my laptop has few years, it easily managed 12 tables previously - right now you simply need a better, preferably gaming laptop to play multiple tables without a risk of your system getting frozen, which happened once after I tried to tile 6 tables - got a black screen and tables were not visible

Lobby
- can't sort tables by Players or Avg stack, you have to manually scroll down to look for tables with free seats, assuming that you don't want to use the "Find seat" option
- Table names (like: NLH 7470) are not displayed in the list, therefore you cannot find a specific table, if you wish to do so
- you can't easily distinguish tables that are already opened (with a grey font or Status: Open or something) - there is only a small "person" icon
- can't filter normal tables (without bomb pot), you have to leave the list unfiltered and deal with bomb pots and HU tables
- Balance is displayed in thousands instead of regular (example: 1.5k instead of 1530)

Sounds are in general really bad, but these two:

are exceptionally bad and just unacceptable. Not to mention some random shouts and what not, which simply irritated me. Yes I know I can turn some of them off, but I can't believe how this made it to the official release

The only positive option that I found so far is this nice lobby melody called "The Vibe". It is literally the only thing I like.
- sound is unavailable if you are observing the table. It will be available only if you sit at the table.

I have been playing poker since 2008 and seen really cheap software like old Boss Media or Action Poker - nothing was worse than this sound wise.

Betting
- Preflop betting buttons: you cannot set values bigger than 8x if you type them manually
- You also cannot select Pot postflop, only stuff like 2x/3x/4x. I want 33%/50% pot, etc., which I can only select when I am first to act. Might have been the play money table issue
- mouse slider inverted, i.e. scroll up doesn't increase, but rather decrease the sizing
- sizing only changes in the Bet/Raise button, but not always in that small window
- cannot bet BBs in decimals, i.e. I can type 3 or 4, but cannot get 3.5 (might have been the issue at play money table only)

HUD
- it seems that HUD doesn't work, my DriveHUD didn't detect anything upon opening a cash table

Rake
- Why did you increase the rake? NL25 is now 8 bb cap (was 6) and NL50 is 8 as well (was 4)
- Antes at NL25 are 0.16 per player, instead of 0.08

I felt absolutely overwhelmed with this chinese video game, cause this cannot be called a poker room.

It is unbelievable how you managed to turn one of the best poker rooms with a fantastic rake structure into this. You said in the email that "your mind will be blown away" - and you are right. I am blown away and I want to get out of here asap. The room that I thought is gonna be my home (cause that's how awesome it was, with unique 7-max tables) is just unplayable now. It is literally a cheap version of GG.

Mac desktop: no table will open.....the window pops up but it's just an empty black screen, can't play

Windows laptop: I can see the tables but have no sound. The settings have the sound all the way up on the client and my laptop

If you go into wallet > coin enquiry, is this the rake paid since the new software release? Do you then have to manually claim it the next day?

Which mean Turbo at the table ? So many bugs

I can't believe what I am seeing....CHP that I bought with my own money is now being locked as if that was some bonus? If this is true, then this is an absolute scam.
Imagine the following scenario:
- you planned to grind a bit on CoinPoker
- you bought some CHP
- then Coin announces new software change, but claims all good with CHP, everything will be converted to USDT as of 1st of April
- you are patiently waiting
- then on 2nd of March they inform you, that you actually have to unlock YOUR OWN MONEY and treat your CHP as if that was a bonus!

I would have never kept CHP if I knew I am gonna be scammed like that.

The feedback so far is that the hidden rake increase is devious

I've emailed support about this as well. The rakeback generated from the previous week is essentially cash that we should be entitlted to, not to mention I also purchased some CHP last night before the changeover.

Played for a couple hours on the new software earlier today. It seemed pretty good and functional I didn’t mind it. I’d say it’s an improvement on the old software overall. I appreciated the built in hud like GG has. Waitlists and auto-top up didn’t seem to work for me though.

I asked this very question in the discord that went unanswered. I would like to get my money off asap. Can't play on the downloaded client (black screen on table pop up) and can't play on the browser version either (play.coinpoker.com) it asks me to download the client after I sign in

At least some of these "new" caps look the same like they have been for months.
Example low stakes HU caps are same.

Can it be there is no actual rake increase and you're comparing some old rake info to what have been on Coin website long time.
