New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

I took my Trust Fun to Shake Shack for lunch today.Shack Burger + $3 in app fries + $1 in app large fat ****ing gingeraleThe Burger was not particularly good, overly well done, with some parts of it burnt. So later this evening I contacted support. Within 90 (!) minutes I received an e-mail apologizing profusely and bestowing me with a $15 off order promo code, to be used by
Wow, you're making a living out of complaining to fast food corporations. If they ever start talking to each other, you're going to get blacklisted.

I think it did last week. I got one but it was a free one from the loyalty "club".
But Pizza Hut didn't have the $3 personal pan yesterday, so my fast food promo batting average is slacking off.
Wait, what's this new Whopper thingy?
Artful photo, Tuma! Was not at all interested in the [strike]burger[/strike] product until this picture.

Had the opposite effect on me. Oh well, doesn't matter. It's prob pushing ten bucks in my market, and I'm not paying that for Mickey's.
In other news, JITB has a new fish sandwich, Moby Jack. Only $3.29! Way cheaper than FoF.

Looks like double dollop of tartar sauce too, top AND bottom!
Jimmy John's has gyros now for some reason.
I had the beef/lamb one for lunch - the meat was surprisingly good, but the sandwich as a whole was very damp. You'd think they'd run the pita through the toasting machines they have, but it was straight out of the package, and soaked up all the wetness from the veggies and sauce. At $11.49 it's a never again, despite the meat being good.
JJ's should just stick to what they're good at, all their new toasted subs are trash.
Don't sleep on the triple choc chip cookies though.
JJβs potato salad is much better than expected, and they also have these new Kickinβ Ranch Jimmy Chips that are good.

I wanna try this new and improved Whopper at a discount.
Went to BK today for the $3.99 app BK Whopper.
I didn't notice any differences, but I'm no gourmet.
It was good, well worth the $3.99
After a truly **** day, which included not eating until 3pm, I stopped at Sonic for a full price corn dog, pretzel twist and a medium Cherry Limeade. It was worth it! $8, plus $2 to the tatted up 20yo who delivered the food
if growing up in the epicenter of the pellet ice drive-in sonic boom from damn near time they opened until bought out in '87 for $10M taught me anything is how easily it is to create a human hummingbird equivalent to vampires
I saw Sonic had a 2 corndog + medium drink for $4.99 that I should have hit, but didn't pull the trigger. I blame low blood sugar. Should have added a small tots for the ride home, too. All around fail.
FOF is 2/6 right now bill, no app needed.
that pic from Tuma is pure art in burger form.
Looks like I'll get one later this week even though its $9.49 + tax.
I have enough points to pair a McChicken with it. meh I guess I don't need to pay $4.89 for large fries.
Even my Trust Fun has a limit.
Today, I tried the Panda Express Dynamite Orange chicken. In the past I've always laughed at fast food that claimed to be spicy. This is the real deal. Tread carefully.
If you can accept the heat, it is pretty darn good. It reminded me a little of hot wings. I'm definitely getting it again.
Spoiler
Oh and about 5 hours later, I paid for it again... :p
Dynamite on the left, Beijing Beef on the right

I never would have dreamed Mark_K eats broccoli. Learn something new every day!
Yum! I'm all about the vegetables!
Don't remember if I've tried any of the new toasted subs, but toasting the originals (at least the italian ones) greatly improves them.

I just got this mental image of McMuffin after getting a BIG ARCH:

how long before the ceo of sonic is captured live on camera throating a foot long coney?
just today video evidence of the a&w head leaked as he was recorded enjoying a healthy chomp into the buns of a teen burger
have to admit it does get a little epstein at the end
Spoiler
McDonald's is the genius of marketing. They lead, everyone else follows. Meanwhile everyone is buying $9 Big Arches...
