NFL Offseason 2026
it's the most wonderful time of the year for pretend GMs - the NFL Offseason!
Sure the games are fun, but the 7 months of
I don’t agree with this at all. Kyler will want/need to play wherever he goes and he’ll want to go somewhere with good talent and schemes around him.
Rams fit the second half of that but not the fist. Raiders fit neither
Nobody will sign him as a long term play, so let’s consider the short term options in no particular order:
1. Vikings. The incumbents got rid of cousins and Darnold for JJ. They have no choice but to see this through to its logical conclusion. There’s no evidence to suggest they are capable of developing a qb, so not only will he not play unless they’ve resigned themselves to getting fired, he won’t get better
2. Browns. lol
3. Raiders. The Crosby trade is definitely a signal that they’re all in on the rebuild, and between a last place schedule, a theoretically decent offense, and (allegedly) a brilliant offensive coach, this is his best chance to get run as a starter and not look like total ****
4. Rams/9ers. Taking a year sitting behind and learning from offensive prodigies can’t hurt. See: Darnold, Sam
He won’t ever sign with Carolina, nor should he. And the Steelers won’t sign him even if Rodgers calls it a day cuz of Wilson and fields and not wanting to go through another reclamation
soooooo pierre garcon
are you saying the calamari is off the menu or not?

of course it's 1 year because the Cards are paying him $30m +.
re Vikings. IDK, I think they will bring someone in to compete and hopefully beat JJ. The pods I've listened to reckon they've given up on him already. AND whether you/we believe it or not, KOC is the one getting credit for Darnold. Not Kyle
he won't start for long ahead of a #1 in Oakland and they are gonna be a **** show, so why would he do that.
I don't mind either CAR or PIT for him and both teams should be in for him. He's a 29yo former #1 pick who has shown he can play well in the NFL while playing for a terrible organisation.
The Colts should tell Dimes to piss off and bring in Kyler.
But the Panthers are fully committed to Bryce for next season, for better or worse.
Wow, big Mike was desperate to get out of Tampa. 3 years, $42 mil and $16 guaranteed. Can be worth up to $60 with the incentives.
SRM knows Lynch.
I don’t doubt that KOC is getting credit for Darnold, but if JJ has proven anything it’s that it’s completely undeserved
****, look at what Mac pulled off last year. He actually looked like a legit starter
Agree with heels that the panthers are stuck with Bryce one way or the other. The colts are probably the option I didn’t think about that makes the most sense
yeah, that's a good deal for the niners with Evans. There's a decent chance he's washed but it's a 1yr deal effectively and you'd think he can catch 10 Red Zone TDs in his sleep
I had no problem with the Vikings moving on from Darnold, but it seriously couldn't have been for JJ. All you had to do was watch 1.5 Michigan games and you know he wasn't good and wasn't asked to do anything.

Ya I mean I was so thoroughly convinced JJ was absolute dogshit watching him at Michigan constantly being told I’m wrong at some point I just caved and decided maybe there was something I wasn’t seeing
He’s ass
Penix just needs a few blue pills and he'll be fine.

You guys are acting like Kyler wants to be the next Darnold. Isn't it more likely he really just wants more time for gaming?
Kyler is probably still mourning the death of Vince Zampella.
Geno going back to the Jets is hilarious
Jets trading for Geno is the bad part. Means they have to pay his salary. They should just have waited til he was cut which was a million per cent to happen
Trey not having signed yet probably means his market isn’t quite as aggressive as he was hoping

Yeah this almost tells me they aren't intentionally trying to tank this year, when the move is to actually tank. You just sign him after he gets cut to tank properly and not waste money or move down a draft round. Such an inept organization.
They were probably scared he’d pick the Browns over them.
