In the spirit of the books and movies threads, here's one to talk about what you're listening to lately and what you hav
apologies for the repetative emphasis but that last vid is extremely entertaining throughout the listen

this entire vid is worth multiple rips but rushing to scrub somewhere around the 21:12 minute mark while simultaneously reaching for headphones offers ample watching opportunity how a current grandmaster of capturing unique sound balloon butterflies off the needle then ponging them toward a tiredly different breakout paddle gets certain results
Today John Fahey rolled around on the old ipod. Just a great acoustic guitar player ignored or unknown by most. This is my favorite by him

anyone else know what it means when you have the same head and forearm hair patterns as John Fahey without absolutely anything else in common
Man, if David Gilmour’s black Strat just went for $14.55M, Jimi’s white Strat, Pagey’s double-neck, and Paul McCartney’s old bass would all have to be at least double if not triple that.
I wonder what Page’s entire guitars, equipment, vinyl, memorabilia, etc collection that we saw a glimpse of in It Might Get Loud would go for—$300M? 500?
God only knows what all’s in there, though I’d imagine he had some curators help him go through some of it for the recent documentary, not to mention his insurance premiums will be going up now. There have to be hundreds of records & dozens of guitars he forgot about fifty years ago.

I'm a Buffy-fan and the sad news about Nicholas Brendon dying made think of that Fergie video he was in.
After googling it became clear that he was never in a Fergie-video, but somehow I've spent 15+ years thinking the guy in this video was Nicholas Brendon:
I did wonder about the tattoos, but people get tattooed so I figured that was just what he'd done. Turns out he didn't and either Milo Ventimiglia looks a lot like Nicholas Brendon or I need glasses.
Possibly both.
