Survivor: GENERAL THREAD
I wanted to post something Survivor related but realized there's no general thread about Survivor. Each thread is about
No way
A ZOOM call alliance - mentions starting at 10:55
Exactly why I picked her first in SS. Couldn’t help bragging about her win and thought these players would fall over like the noobs in 49.
The disadvantage of being an unknown and playing 2 weeks after she went all the way didn’t help either.
Didn't want to watch another season of Savannah and she didn't have a shot anyways.
I wasn't a fan of her in S49, and S50 changed very little. One of the best examples of Main Character Syndrome I've ever seen.
That said, this is shaping up to be a really old school season where alliances rule the day. You'll never see some alliance of four that suddenly starts targeting each other at F9 because "I have to get them before they get me".
Surprised they didn't vote out Emily after she basically demonstrated to the whole tribe that she can't be trusted.
But I'm sure that as always there's a lot they're not showing us.
stephenie sure was out of the loop

Emily is showing that she learned zero from her first time playing. In her season, I remember her having a super high opinion of herself and her intelligence, and the first time she found out she wasn't in control of everything, she absolutely collapsed. She made a bit of a comeback from it then, but she was 100x worse this time.
The part I was confused by was she and Christian were on the same tribe post swap. Why wasn't literally their first conversation on the new beach about the idol?

Emily and Christian are good friends outside the game, playing a lot of blood on the clocktower together online
Ultimately Stephanie and Q got swap screwed by pre game friendships, but that is part and parcel of returnee seasons. Even in everyone's favourite heries vs villains which Stephanie was also a victim of
Thirteen weeks of coronating Christian as America’s #1 favorite boy is something Id sign up for.
But Mike is still the only person I want on my screen. I dont even think he’s actively “manipulating” or even “game-playing”. His life and profession have come together to make him this way. And it’s effortlessly transfixing. Probst sucked him harder than anyone in the show’s history last night. Not since Cochran.
It’s also hilarious that the screen says Day 8 and there are 20 people out there.
The season logo sucks so hard.
Also one thing I forgot. Probst - just because they call you uncle Jeff for a season...doesn't mean you're suddenly a rapper. That was Michael Scott level cringe.
The fans had to choose between Rappin Jeff, Rasta Probst, or a folk ballad
They keep saying the fans chose.....
There's literally nothing different except boomerang idol which isn't even that out of the ordinary.
Still no rice.
Swap after 3 ppl out.
It's all the same. Fans didn't choose ****
And would you really want them to?
They should have let the fans design some new challenges.
None of the stuff I voted for is being implemented. #1: "C'mon in guys!" #2: 39 days #3: minimum 3 hot chicks that look good in bikinis.
#3 was an option?
Lol
This might be the dumbest thing Survivor has ever done
This was a great episode to record and fast forward through the interminable Zac Brown infomercial.
Christian is doing a great job as he put it playing around Emily. Ozzy sad to say hasn't improved anything in his social game and is going nuclear soon - I predict next episode will be his first threat to not go fishing if he doesn't get his way.
As a British person I have one key question coming away from this episode
Who on gods green earth is Zac Brown
Not a bad episode though we need some other tribes to lose now to mix things up.
And of course I also skipped through whatshisname.
