[extracted] New(?) 9-11 stuff
KSM got a plea deal. The guy who supposedly masterminded the 9/11 attacks is not getting the death penalty.

So what's going on with the rubble mass then, billy? How are we calculating that? I don't think the others are too happy with our work so far of proof by looking at it.
Did Rococo guess the correct calculation? I need you to fill in the blanks here, you're the calculation guru.
I think that I know how he did the math. He assumed that the debris pile was roughly conical, which allowed him to calculate the total volume of the debris.V= (1/3) × π × r² × hWeight of course is just density times volume. W=D × VHe knows the volume from his previous calculation. And he knows the weight because it is trust me bro. Density then is the trivial calculati

I dont know why he is assuming that. I said it was a ball park figure based on the lack of debris in photographs. 10% seems reasonable. Happy to see further evidence if people have it. "Donald", I think it was, presented a photo to prove otherwise but again it in fact supports the estimate of around 10% of what would be expected given a progressive collapse floor by floor. Which of course we know is impossible in any case. There is in fact no requirement for there to be more than 10% rubble. We do not expect more than 10% rubble.
We know what happened to the rubble right? Too far at this point? You'll come around.

Ah, the proof by description of what you'd be able to estimate if you looked at it.
Can you at least post these photos? When were they taken? And who the **** is Donald?
The buildings became dust motes?
While we know it is impossible, let us assume it is possible for the sake of it. Let us steel man them again.
Recall we allowed maximum impact from the mass of floors falling from above for each subsequent collision. Floors are considered fully coupled following each collision. We therefore require at ground zero the entire mass of the tower. Photographic evidence please, from those sticking to the progressive collapse narrative.

The guy with the donald trump photo. I think it's trump anyway.
No, I urge us not to post further photos. The burden of proof is on them who still cling to progessive collapse.

First of all, lol. Just because we used the worst case for one scenario doesn't mean everyone else is obligated to subscribe to that case for subsequent scenarios. Another massive logic fail in a long string of them from you.
Secondly, the mass cancels out. We didn't need to use the floor mass in the calculations at all. I just used a notional value of 100kgs. If you gave a proper model with resistance of the supporting structure in play, the mass would matter. As it is, it doesn't.
Reminder: two sources have been given for 1.8 million tons of debris. Zero sources for any other amounts have been given.
Burden satisfied.
I find it slightly odd that these highly sophisticated state actors with access to top secret directed energy weapons and the ability to convincingly fake the largest terrorist attack in history clumsily left enough clues for detective dipshit here to crack the conspiracy wide open with the aid of a couple of middle school physics formulas and some photos. Guess they just didn't dream that a sleuth of Billy's calibre would be assigned to the case.
Certainly haven't seen any photos that support his case.
Billy seems rather capricious and/or arbitrary about when we ARE and we are NOT supposed to believe our eyes.
billy and deuces are no different. When it comes down to it, they just don't provide evidence for their claims. They do EVERYTHING but.
My car detailing guy likes playing conspiracy detective in his spare time too. It should annoy me but he just did a full ceramic on a 450h+ for $1300, thing looks better than the day I bought it
He has thoughts on ghosts too
I think we probably all know a couple of people prone to conspiracy theories in real life, but I have to admit, I don't know any flat earthers. Billy has that distinction all to himself.
I remember when I was about 13 or 14, I came up with some sort of progressive betting strategy for even odds bets (I knew that Martingale didn't work, but "mine was better") and was convinced that I'd become wildly rich because I'd thought of something that hadn't occurred to any casino or bookie in the world because I was just so smart.
I think people like Billy are forever stuck in that phase of personal development and just never grew out of that sort of teenage ignorance and hubris. Billy seriously seems to think that nobody except him and his conspiracy chums thought to apply a basic conservation of momentum calculation to possibly the most studied and reviewed disaster in human history.

It's a first. Not even Dr Wood steelmanned them as we did.
Brain washing is more powerful than confidence in physical laws. We are seeing this in real time in this thread.

Billy, if you had to have a rare moment of introspection, would you say that your problem is that you're mostly stupid, mostly crazy, or some combination of both?

No, little buddy, the "steelman" time for a single exterior panel to "collapse" is sub 10 seconds, well within the window in the NIST report. It's about 9.25 seconds plus air resistance, because it doesn't get slowed down by collisions during its fall. If it falls edge facing down, it's about 9.5-10 seconds with air resistance factored in - pretty much the figure in the portion of the NIST report you quoted IIRC.

Reminder: no evidence was provided. There are unsubstantiated claims.
Those who claim significant debris as expected by progressive collapse (a proven fairytale, chuckle) MUST provide photographic evidence or some other verifiable evidence of a reasonable standard.
