I had nets +20.5 yesterday and they were at home

the fact that sportsbooks are offering props on Pat Spencer is the reason why the allegations will never stop

TZ, I need your help.

How excited should I be about what the Hawks have been doing lately?

In what context?

Well, they’re instantly more likeable after jettisoning Trae. I was very happy about that.

Is there any multiverse that exists where they sniff the 2nd round of the playoffs?

If Cade is back for the playoffs he won't be 100% right away, so they could beat the Pistons. Would be tough to beat Boston or Knicks, but they aren't drawing dead.

gruesome injury for moses moody, breakaway, jumps for dunk, and I saw him on the ground, looked like a dislocated knee.

There would be a great playoff race if not for the playin crap, now there is none. Isn't that right?

Injury must have included a dislocation or an obvious broken bone for him to be stretchered off in that way.

Torn patellar tendon for Moody per Shams

It depends on the details, of course, but that's an injury that is virtually impossible to recover from to your previous level. Sad to say, but I'm not sure that a version of Moses Moody that is 75% of who he was before the injury is a viable NBA player. I suspect that this injury may mark the effective end of his career.

20/20/20 watch for Jokic ... 18/14/15 after 3 quarters.

23/17/17

boo this man

if jokic really wanted it he could've gone for 23/20/20 but nooooo

Sad. He was never going to be a star, but he's perfect for a 4th or 5th best player for any good team. 3D guy who can score without a play being run for him.

Embiid is so ****ing good offensively lmao

Checked the score, Pistons down 18 to the Hawk Tuahs at the half.

Checked again halfway through the third quarter, Pistons now up two.

Expansion draft in 2028, I've heard that Silver may want to make the new teams more competitive right away.

So last expansion draft teams could protect 8 players (maximum one player drafted per team). I've heard rumors that it may only be 7 players protected, and possibly even just 6!

Now that would be wild.

Steph has 1 more year on his contract, he asked his dad (who just got his Charlotte #30 retired) if he could wear that # if he played for the Hornets. His dad said hell yeah.

I could totally see Steph in Charlotte to end his career, with his dad calling his games.
Then Steph and Kon could play "You make a 3, I make a 3!"

Is Luka Dončić playing well this season?

I'm trying to figure out if the Hornets are the unluckiest team ever. They're 38-34 with an expected record of 48-24 based on point differential. I'm incapable of getting an answer on google, maybe because nobody else cares. But I sort of doubt any team has ever been 10 games below EV for an entire season. The luckiest MLB team I can even remember was the Rangers who were 13 games above EV in 2016 in twice as many games.

We're not unlucky, it just took us half a season to figure **** out and to get healthy. We started 4-14 and were 16-28 before things started turning around. We were not a good team for the first half of the season.

But once everyone was back and they started to buy in, they've been really good. The point differential is a bit misleading, especially because we've been absolutely smashing the bad teams, plus blowing out some good teams too over the second half.

We might finally have a coach plus talent.
