How to purchase advertising?
Sorry if this is the wrong place, the 'advertising info' link in the sidebar is 404
Is it possible for CoinPoker to purc
Yes, huge improvement.
Thanks owners!
We've requested a new banner it may be added shortly. If it's annoying there's an X button top right to remove it in one click, on the footer one, if it appears again. Up to the owners of course if they allow us to continue but we'd like to, sorry if it's irritating. We are big fans of TwoPlusTwo and would like to think by paying for this it helps support the forum.
Most likely they will not be advertising in April with the slogan "rakeback slashed, now one of the highest rakes out there"
For the first time the sentence "more rake is better" could be true.
Some of the regs in the coin thread have posted they're getting 80% rakeback so far in April.
I'm one of the people who post on that rep account above, and I arranged the banner. I've been on 2+2 since 2009. 100% rakeback was a great unique promo, and it was easy to close the ad with one click.

The banner ad being embedded at the bottom of every ****ing thread is 100x more annoying than the banner that could easily be x'd out.

Some might do, others are not so lucky
I agree the 100% rb promo was unique, but its also over.
Why advertise in April about a promo that finished in March?

How is that more annoying than a blinking, moving ad that turns up again a few clicks later no matter how much you x it out?
In a perfect world, we'd have neither, but the current one is clearly tons better than what we had a few days ago.
depends on how one uses the forums and what is personally irritating to them
if you come for 5-10 minutes at a time and read the last few posts in a handful of threads, before you only had to x out the ad once as it only reappeared every 10 minutes or so.
now I get to see it many times each visit with no recourse
to each his own

Well that reg said 'everyone', his words, because the leaderboards are flat in structure. Another reg also just posted similar
@Coin_pokerSo after experiencing your reward system first hand I became a believer again and have to admit I was wrong and to pessimistic about the amount of rake I thought I was gonna be charged. I apologise for my somewhat hostile earlier post, although it should have been communicated better on your part that your leaderboards are not leaderboards in the traditional sense. A
Just hasn't been updated yet by 2+2, we've sent a new one, if they let us continue
So some people don't mind the footer banner, some people don't mind the in-thread banner, mixed opinions
Pretty sure Bidz is the only one who prefers the previous flashing monstrosity. This is much better, thank you.
don't mind me gentlemen
apparently I just sucked at using uBlock Origin
but now I don't
carry on π π
Yeah, multiple times on my phone I missed the x and clicked the stupid ad.
how to block this ad? manually block it with uorigin but then next thread it comes back
Make sure you're not on Chrome, which no longer has the real uBlock Origin. It has the dumbed down version, thanks to Google (an ad company) going to war with ad block in Chrome (see Manifest v3).
I use Chrome too where I indeed have to use the uBlock Origin Lite... still does that the trick though
