Urban off to Vegas again 1st April to 5th April. Family trip
After the last trip in November I have been desperate to head off again but have not found any time. My daughter recent
Nice run post gummy!
If the kids are into arcades, maybe go see the Pinball Hall of Fame.
What craps bets are you hitting to get a handpay? That Roll 'Em All that the experts say is massively -ev?

Just pressing my numbers to the moon. When those repeaters hit my word the returns get high.
Also if the rolls get cold I switch to the DP. I have at times been putting $500 on the DP and taking the odds. On a 4 or 10 you can 4x them which gets sweaty!
Urban you're a good dad bless you
Enjoying the trip report thanks. UK banks are the worst. Canβt do what you want with your own money.
Seems like youβre giving the casino a lot of action. Maybe check in with a host before you leave, you might be able to get the nights you paid for comped as well?
Day whatever it is of the trip....
So I woke up after just 3 hours sleep thinking the night before was all but a dream until I saw the handpay slips and cash in the safe.
We are up just over $30k in a short space of time and have that essentially locked. I had to go for a walk in the morning to process what had happened. Yes I was tired but F it 30k is a massive score and I wanna chill.
I come back to the room with coffees and breakfast but the kids are excited for the day ahead and the wife pops out to do her morning at the ranch.
Now the original plan was to go to Circus Circus but the kids had asked for breakfast as they didn't really want pastries. No worries we walked over to Denny's near Harrahs and had a bit of food there. After food they asked if they could go shopping.
Fine by me. Let's spend some of those winnings! Now I am not sure if any of you know about Pop Mart but they had a field day in there and got what I can only refer to as plastic crap 🤣🤣. It makes them happy so whatever it's cool with me. We do a little more shopping and I can tell they just don't want to do another arcade today.
Quick change of plan then. Madame Tussauds! We make our slow way there via the Wynn and the Venetian so that I can show them the sites.

A quick photo of the "plastic crap" I am talking about
Madame Tussauds was fun. I would show a few of the pictures but they all have my kids in and yeah well I am not one for putting pictures of them on the internet. However this place did make me realise how out of touch I am with the celeb world. That or I do not know many American celebrities. For example at the entrance there were two female wax works I had zero idea of who they are and I got told by my kids who they were. Yeah I'm old!
We headed back to the hotel after lunch as they wanted to open all the stuff they had bought and the wife was back from her ranch morning. On the way back we stopped off at duck donuts so I could bring some back for the room. 9/10, these donuts are amazing! Didn't even get a chance for a picture
Once back it was time to degen as everyone else wanted to rest.

As you can see from the pictures we spin $2k up for a handpay of 2.3k and then we also cash out another 5k. Making for another 7k upswing.
This run is getting insane. I know I am on the good side of the variance train and long may this continue. At this rate gambling is going to pay for a second house.
I text the wife and she says everyone is asleep and she wants a nap also so I decide to head to the spa and get a massage as the tolls of 25k steps a day, along with zero sleep is taking its toll on my body
Later in the evening we see the MJ live concert at Harrahs which I can suggest if you want a cheap fun thing to do in Vegas go to this. The performer is great, good backup dancers and he knows how to work the crowd.

He was great with the kids also but now thinking about it wasn't the real MJ good with kids or should we not go there 🤣🤣
After the show it honestly was lights out for me. Got back to the room and slept till 3am!
Final day to come
Running great, playing and shopping on house money is by FAR the best way to do Las Vegas.
Keep crushing it!!
Some serious rungood here π Have a safe travel home, and hopefully you avoid puking on the plane like I did :(
(super smooth flight, was just sick + something I ate)
A morning hit before I got coffee

Turned 1k in heaps. Had $500 on the 3 and it hit.
Final cash out including that HP was $6700 (edit you can see the $6,700 balance). Stopped as some woman came over to my machine and started begging me for money for breakfast. All while she was carrying money in hand. Then compliments me on my accent. Just no. I don't mind giving to charity but that was the worst type of begging behaviour.
Gave back $4k on the actual craps table. Maybe it's just type to keep on BC. Could write a book on how to press a button
Anyway I think that's the last of the gambling and now it's time to enjoy the rest of the day in Vegas
Congrats on all of the run good.

Never heard of them. The U.S. standard in donuts is Krispy Kreme if you like sugar. TI has them in the little gift shop on the skybridge from the parking garage to the casino.

Geez, how big are your starting bets?

Krispy Kreme isn't that standard where I live. We've had them, but they've closed. We do have a Ducks.
But if you are in Vegas, then just go to Dominique Ansel.
Also, just catching up, but great TR!
IMHO, can't go wrong with either Krispy Kreme or Duck Donuts. Duck Donuts is newer, starting about 20 years ago in the town of Duck, North Carolina on the Outer Banks. They've grown fairly quickly, and with good reason.
So last day...
Surprise surprise 4am wake up again. This actually has been the worst trip for a sleeping schedule for me. It's been all over the place and something I need to think about for the next trip.
However put that aside for now it's a case of good morning Vegas

I'm up and ready for some more BC! Everyone is still asleep so I head downstairs and decide to play a bit of crapless craps. Now I will say I am not one of these players who goes from machine to machine looking at previous rolls. In my personal opinion I couldn't care less as we all know it is completely random.
We sit down and start off with $500. This soon quickly turns into $1500 with a decent roll and regressing at the right time.

Right this means we can play totally fearless next roll. Now I cannot remember exactly how this went but we hit a god roll and managed this hand pay when the 3 repeated and we had pressed to $500 on it.

After this hand pay which took no time at all for once we played a little more and I think I cashed out for another 5k. Another wait for the money as those cash outs are classed as hand pays also. While waiting the wife messages to say everyone is up so I head back upstairs with breakfast and coffee
Our days are split today. My youngest wants to go to the Sphere to see the Wizard of Oz and the eldest doesn't! Great
I book the youngest and the wife some VIP package to the Sphere for the 11am showing. Hell these are expensive but we are massively up for the trip so I honestly don't care. I am aware this is why these places charge these prices but it's Vegas.
They head off and my eldest and I go shopping for gifts for her friends. First off though we head down to Fremont Street so I can show her a few sites. Now booking wheelchair taxis is so easy around Vegas and it's something I have realised we need to do better in the UK.
Not much to report about Freemont. It was dead, no street performers just homeless begging and it was honestly super depressing. We didn't stay long and I would safely say don't bring family here!
We took the deuce back to the forum shops at Caesar's. Now I am going to say the one driver we had for the deuce was one of the best bus drivers I have ever had the pleasure to meet. When you are going around with a wheelchair it's hard I am not going to sugar coat it. However she made sure the other passengers did not crowd around while I got my daughter onto the bus, she came and helped me move her in and strapped her up safely as I had no idea how any of it worked. It's alot different to any experience I have had back home.
To top this off she had some sweets (candy to you Americans) and offered some to my daughter also. Now I was touched by this and wanted to show my appreciation. So I grabbed 2 $100 bills I had on me and wrapped them around a $20 bill (deuce deuce). On the way out I handed her what looked like a $20. Hopefully when she checks it she realises the little extra to make her day the way she made our day. Also lady if you stumble across this Thank You!

Shopping all done it's time to pack and yes we needed an extra suitcase as the kids got treated to so much extra stuff and I bought some new clothes when shopping.
I count the cash that's left over. $34,500

My favourite dealers were at the craps table I saw when heading back to the room so I tell the wife it's one final battle. $40k cash or $30k cash I am taking home.
We grab the $4,500 and head to the table. Warm greetings all round and it just me and the dealers.
$4,500 down and we get all black chips. I tell them the score. We spin this to 10k for 40k or we go home with 30k. I also let them know they are in with me. I let them ride $100 a number with me and the remaining $3900 goes across for me. We had $1200 each on the 6 and 8.
Come out roll 9
The dealers are hyped, I am hyped let's make this a roll shall we!! We grab the dice, take a breath and throw and it feels a good throw. They land and groans all round.... 52!!!!
Oh F the F off man seriously. For all the run good on BC I have only caught one good roll in live craps. Even the one dealer said to me "F'ing hell man that sucks, you have had so many PSOs this trip".
Sigh never mind it was one final push but I cannot be mad taking $30k with me.
Anyway to finish the TR off we have some food at Guys Flavourtown

Oh and I can't help myself. The kids wanted to play at the arcade before heading to the airport and I needed to pick up some last minute stuff. I head to CVS and on the way back put $2k into the BC machine. Yes I am a degen and yes I know I said 30k haha

Weeeeeeeeeeeeee another god roll and we take the 5k profit
Off to the airport and I am writing this while on the plane.
Final profit I have no idea until I do some accounting.
Also final thoughts to come.
Congratulations on the mad rush. Even more, well done with the bus driver! I'm sure you really made her day.
Glad you & the family had a fun trip. Safe travels!
Final thoughts
Sorry for the delay. When we landed back in the UK my daughters wheelchair was broken in transit so have been busy trying to get that sorted and complain!
It is covered on the insurance, however it proved to be a massive ball ache when we got off the plane as we had to wait for another chair to come up as she was not going to be able to walk the whole way off the plane to the baggage claim and back to the car. I am waiting on someone from BA to contact me this week about it. Just as I was going to sing all the praises about BA as well this happens!
Also thinking back I have quite a few gripes about our room and mainly how clean it was. For the first time ever I did not tip housekeeping. Two times I caught them sat there in our room doing nothing apart from scrolling reels on their phones. Both times they saw me, instantly got up to put their phones away and just left the room. They clearly just were not doing any work and yes it may have been break time but I am sure they have a staff room etc to do that. To top that off our door was open when they did it so they had no idea that it was actually the right person in the room. Their attention to detail was super poor as well. I noticed behind one of the curtains there was a pair of womens shorts left from whenever. The floors as well were also pretty dirty as I found a couple of dead moths that had not been hoovered up. Maybe I am being overly harsh I do not know but you expect a suite to be super clean considering the normal price they charge people. I have seen that room go for over $1k a night. It also looks nothing like the pictures (below is the advertising picture)

Now scroll up to look how the room actually looks.
Now the good things.
Gambling obviously went well. Accounting wise I have not bothered to work it out but I am up. What more can you ask for from a trip away? Although one thing I will say is that the limits on the bubble craps machines have doubled. My last trip I am sure the min bet was $3, now it has jumped up to $6. Look for me it is not a massive thing but you are eventually not going to be able to low ball if these limits keep rising.
Vegas is great for familes. CET properties at the moment have a deal on. 3 shows for $149, personally I think that is a great deal and the choice of shows around the strip at all the properties are mainly family friendly. Food costs have risen but there are still some cheap eats around if you know where to look. Ask locals or do the research.
Having a disability is no problem either. This was massive for my daughter. There were no areas she could not access unlike back here. She was constantly telling me how much of a good time she was having and that she did not seem to be a problem anywhere. One thing I will say, if you have mobility issues and need an elevator make sure you know alternative ways to get to your destination on the strip. We found a few of the elevators were broken on the walkways. They were usually fixed by the next day but we were caught out a few times. A small problem but these things happen. But yeah plan a backup in advance!!
Anyway the kids are desperate to go back and want to come out with me for my WSOP trip. Beat for them that trip is going to be a SOLO one!!
I'm so glad your family had a good time, especially your daughter.
I took my kids a couple years ago and they have no interest in returning. of course that was July 2024 when they had the all time record high temps...
I had to take a week off 2+2 because too busy, but glad to come back to this! Well done!!!

Yeah I can see that being a bit of a problem for sure. I think the highest it got during this trip was 28c (82F for you Americans) which was really nice. We did not manage to do some of the things they wanted to do so will have to do it again another time.
The big plus was the being able to access everything for sure. I took them away to Spain last year and it was terrible for getting around (despite being told it was accessible).
Next trip for just me though is looking like 28th June - 12th July

Looks like Iβll be there for the last couple of days of your trip. In case I donβt run like absolutely garbage again we can try the $ sale again haha.
