I 100% disagree. I'm doing very well on the site - but have had several 20 BI downswings where I get it in good versus droolers and before the cards are turned over - know I'm going to be ahead and lose in some horrifically improbable way.

Granted - it's PLO - but the predictability of both the swings and the hands feels very off.

The swings always happen after I've reached a new account high.
The losses always come against the dregs of the pool. The certified chromosome missing paint eaters.

Again - I keep playing there as I'm winning at a good clip - but it's kinda like cellular data. I keep using my unlimited plan because it works - but I know that at some point every month - my carrier is going to throttle me. It's like you're allowed to win up to a max bb/100 winrate - and then they doomswitch you to make sure you don't take too much out of the pool before they can rake it.

Not saying that's what's happening necessarily - but having worked at the worlds largest tech companies - I'd be completely unsurprised if it were.

Left a game and my balance did not change after leaving and has not since. Not able to recreate this successfully but now has me worried

how the hell can anyone survive in a game that is raking 20% of a buy in per hour in cash? I am thinking of switching over from globalpoker but this seems really bad? Is the site worth it for 50nl and 100nl?

I've played however many millions of hands of poker throughout many years and across many sites, and not once have I noticed anything about runouts one way or another. This is because I'm a normal person who isn't stricken with extreme paranoia and is desperately looking for ways to cope over the fact that I'm not winning as much as I think I should.

The good news for everybody else is that online poker will continue to be absolutely incredible on US-facing sites as long as Americans are allowed to play. In the US, even the ostensibly winning players like Snipe are whining about runouts and ****. We are an extraordinarily dumb country.

So did you create a burner account because you got so butt hurt about something I said at some point - or was it to add your poorly informed, even more poorly conceived thoughts to the Trump thread without fear of exposing yourself?

Just so we're clear, "normal" people don't get so butt hurt that they create burner accounts, however it's common for folks with fragile egos and/or undiagnosed mental health conditions. Maybe see someone.

You have to table select. There is a world of difference between .50/1/2 and .25/.5/1. But I see more and more regs who were playing 1/2/4 who are now at .25/.5/1. You need two whales to beat the game over a big sample size. A table full of bad regs isn't enough. The games are soft, but the rake is absurd.

Once you go through the security check, withdrawals are super fast. I have complaints about the rake, but the withdrawals have been fast and easy.

If they would just drop the rake cap 1BB, we'd be in business. They still get their inflated rake due to the inflated pots from the antes and straddle and we get a little bit of a break.

From the perspective that I've seen glitches on the site, that there are some technical issues, it's possible there could be something going on.

If there is, I don't think it's intentional by the WPT site. They don't need to take on that type of risk with a site that's potentially very lucrative.

I've received and given some crazy beats on there over 200K hands. Also, we have to run it once on the site so the variance would automatically spike.

Isn't there an WPT RNG thread though? I think WPT addressed this issue and that they are now 3rd party verified with the RNG

Binked an MTT on here last night. Lovely poker site. I completely obliterate the-US facing sites but am only a pretty small winner on the site which features Euro and South American regs, ACR. I wonder if you have any conception as to how extraordinarily good you have it by having access to US-facing sites. Probably not, since you still somehow find reasons to bitch and moan. You almost certainly would be breakeven or worse on GG. Show some goddamn gratitude.

There has been a precedent in the U.S. that we don't generally over rake people. The concern is that the rake on the site is higher than GG by some reports. Normalizing super high rake might be "smart" according to GG but all in all who wants to play there anymore? I sure as hell don't. If the games start to normalize on WPT gold they will become unbeatable in the long term, if they are not already unbeatable at NL. I wouldn't bother with the NL games on there at the moment.

I'm thinking about playing something this week - probably the crown 320 buy in event on April 18. Hope the action is very good.
