Made tiny bet just for fun because not sure how nl100 will go, it got full real quick, we have 11/11 bettors.

I remember back in the day when i had poor BRM and i had to move down from NL5 to NL2 there was a reg who used to grind leaderboards like 18h a day, yeah CRAZY guy, he used to fight against me so hard, making aggressive moves and i was ending up punting stacks vs him thinking why damn NL2 must be so HARD, just checked lobby and that POOR guy still plays NL2 and probably grinds same hours, look at me where I'm now.

So basically these NL50 regs whom i gifted stacks (yeah i punted a lot) they can think they "outplayed" me and they can think they're so good this and that but none of that matters in the end of the day we will see where they will be and where i will be, just wait and you'll see.

Now i have confidence like never before, my confidence is so high that i even think nl100 will be too easy for me, i'll just murder these nl100 regs and it won't be even close, they won't do a thing about it, starting from Friday there will be very hot Sahara Desert days for them.

How many tables do you play ?

Good luck with the 100nl shotty! crush those fools

Maybe he's a bot? Or maybe he's just happy making stress-free money.

You may want to tone your confidence down a notch. They do say "pride comes before a fall" 😉

As many tables as my table selection standard allows me, usually i try to avoid playing 9+ tables because that's where i noticed i play little stressed so anything 8 and below can be good, at NL25 i used to play 16-17k hands per week, NL50 my volume dropped down to 14k, I'm expecting at NL100 my volume to drop again but hopefully not below 10k hands per week, i really hope that, well, we'll see.

Yeah maybe who knows, but i hope GG bans all the bots so i don't have to worry about them.

Yeah probably i still do many things that won't make sense to you but more importantly what also will make zero sense will be me making like 2k$ per week on average playing NL100 HAHAHA call me DELUSIONAL or overconfident, whatever you like but you will witness how BLAZZZAR will rise to the SKY and you WON'T be able to do a thing against it HAHAHAHA

Study and preparation for 100nl done this week, tomorrow we start the session. By scrolling lobby and seeing players I have feeling that it will be the easiest stake I’ve ever played 😃

GLGL!

Is playing 100NL on a $5600 bankroll not rather aggressive?

You're playing 200bb so it's basically 28 buy-ins for the stake. Of course, I assume you would move down stakes to preserve bankroll instead of losing 20 buy-ins.

Yeah it's somewhat borderline, I'm starting to think it was a bad idea, maybe 7k$ BR would do better as the start isn't what i expected, also volume seems low and rakeback will be lower too which sucks.

Todays session was an eye opener, i tried to table select the same way i did for nl50 even compromised a little bit and played slightly worse tables but still volume was halved, yeah if i did 4-5k volume at nl50 in one day it was 2-2.5k for nl100 and also because of low volume maybe rakeback is probably worse than nl50.

I had better expectations but sadly now i have two choices: play **** tables full of regs and do 4-5k volume or mix stakes and play good tables.

I know second option sounds nice but trust me it’s not as nice as it sounds because GGpoker works differently, at GG rakeback = life, it’s like water and bread so mixing stakes won’t help the rakeback.

Maybe I’ll stay at nl50 for some time and build nice roll like 10k$ and decide from there what to do. Well anyway i ended todays session with -500$ after rakeback it will be -350$ not a big deal but I guess anyway i have to play nl50 for now because i don’t feel myself in my zone with this bankroll, maybe I’ll take this weekend off buy nice food and just think what to do next.

Forgive me if you've addressed this elsewhere, but why only play at GG? As an American I know GG is the biggest site, and there all sorts of ****ery when it comes to gov. regulations depending on where you live, but I'm just curious why only GG if rakeback is so necessary to really make money.

When i came back to poker i had only Pokerstars installed and because of regulations they restricted many countries there so i couldn't play (Yeah Pokerstars started suicide mission successfully) so in that moment biggest site was GG so i created GG account and never looked for new sites since then but for now it gives me enough traffic and my bankroll grows too so kind of lazy to search for new sites right now idk

This is the first time I'm giving up the challenge, not because i can't but simple because i'm not in a mood after nl100 didn't meet my expectations, i prefer to take this weekend off, make nice juicy burgers and enjoy life + think and plan about what path to take for the future because now i know what to expect from higher stakes, i will need to either worsen table selection to meet volume goals or i will need to mix the stakes.

Probably will withdraw some funds for life expenses and leave 5k$ roll which is pretty healthy for nl50.

I decided to change my schedule a little bit, Friday grind is ****ing cursed for me, always ending up losing in that day.

Will try like this:

Monday-Tuesday = Rest
Wednesday-Thursday = Grind
Friday = Rest
Saturday-Sunday = Grind

But will take a week off occasionally mostly in the middle of the month.

Also i will be more conservative with the shot taking from now on, will start mixing NL100 after BR reaches 8k$ and probably will start mixing NL200 when BR reaches 20k$.

I paid my dues at the lower limits to get here so no need to hurry now, smart way is the best way, follow me in this journey probably there will be two challenges per week, hope it works.

Sounds sensible. It makes a lot of sense to play more days instead of trying to squeeze all your action into Friday - Sunday. A large chunk of your winnings is from rakeback and jackpots. More volume = more money.

It's probably a good idea to try and be selective about the time of day you play as well. Maybe in the week you will find games are better in evening / late evening instead of sitting there grinding the day time against a bunch of rakeback regs.

I can't say I really understood the NL100 logic. You just moved up to NL50 like 2 weeks ago or something like that. Then you went off to play higher despite not having a big NL50 sample and your bankroll was insufficient.

Damn. Bro gave up after 1 session.

Damn. Bro gave up after 1 session.

Preferred to spend the weekend flipping burgers 😉

One step back, two steps forward.

Was hoping to start seeing consistent 2k weeks. Guess ill come back in 5 years

I’m slowly getting ready for Wednesday-Thursday’s session, there will be a small challenge to make at least 333$+ in 2 days.

Starting tomorrow, we have 10/10 bettors already.

After withdrawing around 300$ BR is 5025$ right now, i will post an update on Friday after this challenge is done.
