[extracted] New(?) 9-11 stuff

KSM got a plea deal. The guy who supposedly masterminded the 9/11 attacks is not getting the death penalty.

If you still

Further I also mentioned drop tests. This supports a stationary Earth. There is zero evidence for axial rotation. It is conclusive therefore.

Sure it does little buddy. Sure it does.

“Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.” (1 Chronicles 16:30)“The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.” (Psalms 93:1).Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be

In Scripture, the phrase ' not be moved' means to be steadfast or to stand firm..

Example: He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved. -Psalm 62:6

I doubt you would claim that the Psalmist is saying he is now stationary.

In Scripture, 'World' is usually a reference to people in the world, not to the planet Earth itself.

addendum:

A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved. -Proverbs 12:3

You may want to look up "expert" too while you're at it.

Again whatever.

Put it this way, completing the required undergrad coursework on SR and examination to a first class standard puts me in a reasonable position to state the basics of the matter here.

I literally just explained this to you like you were 5 and you still don't seem to understand. Not sure there is much more I can do to help.

It should not be hard to show me where I said Einstein is wrong. You cannot. Because I did not.

Good thing we have dipshit Billy from tinternet to tell some of the greatest minds that ever lived what real science (TM) is.

Real is superfluous. Science by definition deals with observable phenomena, i.e. real phenomena.

Ok. Must be hard work being a bible literalist trying to work out which parts to not take literally.

Lol, you did not say those exact words. You made statements where that was the only logical conclusion, and I even spelt the whole chain of reasoning out for you because you are clearly too stupid to figure it out for yourself. Yet you still don't seem to understand. Jesus ****ing christ you are a dumbass.

Right, good thing we have you to tell us that thought experiments aren't science. I imagine a lot of these guys are going to be sad.

I'm sure they'll understand though, window licker Billy here with his dictionary for dummies clearly knows best.

Add 'bible literalist' to the ever-growing list of terms that Billy doesn't know the meaning of.

I don't believe you. Explain the twin paradox and its possible resolutions.

He could probably do that with ChatGPT, so not a conclusive test.

It will be pretty easy to tell if he copies something from ChatGPT, because it will actually make sense.

Very few people are actually "experts" on relativity, special or general. It's not an easy topic and you have to be pretty smart to understand it to an expert level.

I can guarantee that Billy is not one of those people. Apart from the fact that he is clearly not smart enough in general, homeboy can barely do maths beyond school level. To be an expert in special relativity you need a solid grasp of some pretty advanced mathematical topics. I'm not smart enough to get those, and if I'm not, he's sure as **** not.

by Didace

Of course billy will say he never said that. It's part of his schtick - say things that lead to only one logical conclusion and then deny that's what he thinks.

You know the Bible wasn't originally written in English, right?

Ok boss.

Good point. Exactly how do they decide which parts to take literally and which parts to ignore?

Possible resolutions, plural. Interesting.

Methinks someone has been frantically googling.

"Very few people". Just lol at this.

I happily admit to not knowing much about GR. I may or may not read Sean Carroll's book I have had for a while. Most degree programmes do not have GR modules.

Yes, very few are experts, you just have no idea what being an expert would entail. It's certainly more than whatever Mickey Mouse test someone as dumb as you can pass.

And a pretty reliable tell that someone is not an expert is that they call themselves one. But go on, tell me more about your expert grasp of tensor calculus.

FALSE-DICHOTOMY ALERT!!!

Point to Ponder: Just because a verse includes a metaphor, doesn't mean the verse is to be ignored.

If someone (not me of course) said that 'Billy is as dumb as an ox' that would still have propositional content even though you aren't literally an ox or even as dumb as a literal ox.

Hope you now have a better understanding of how language works.

Ox seems rather generous.
