Lots of good options out there. I think taking Dallas is easy. Even if you like Minnesota you are not nearly getting good enough odds. The best number out there has to be Montreal +205. They have Tampa's number.

Don't you dare go jinxing us like this. But yah, should hopefully be a great series. I think the question lingers though about how well Montreal's game translates to the playoffs when physicality picks up and penalties are fewer. And I think it's a legit one.
I've seen stats posts by others that penalties aren't fewer in playoffs. I don't believe it though. Eyeballs don't lie. But if they are fewer, that's gotta help us, especially since our pp has been ass lately.

Why Bettman is so dug in on keeping this ludicrous playoff seeding baffles me.
Both Stars announcers and head coach do a weekly on the radio station I listen to. None of them like it and intimate nobody else in the league does either.
I think a majority of the GM's agree with it as well.
If you look at 1-16 Detroit would get in but if you go by conference 1-8 the same teams qualify
They will never go 1-16 because of travel. They really need to go 1-8 in conference though. Go back to 4 team divisions and have 4 winners, 4 wild cards. Or keep it 2, doesn't matter but you would need to have every team play everyone in their own conference the same number of games.
