I have a question - I looked pretty closely at one of these machines and couldn't find any magic "numbers". Are you talking about the jackpot amounts?
Some machines like ainsworth you’re looking at jackpots. A decent amount of these machines you have to put money into check, usually the min bet or lower (Buffalo/phoenix) and there are machines you have to put in enough to cover the biggest bet you want to check. Others you can stroll by and look at the panel (ascension) or quickly tap all the bets/denoms (play the piano) to check meters (moneyballs).
So Fat Zach went to a steakhouse resturant with Herbs/Rye, and ordered such a noob main dish with chicken breast that i am asking myself if he for once was paying for his own food. Of course this ultra tightwad would get the absolute cheapest main dish on the menu if he is paying.
It reminds me of the Troopers going to Gordon Ramsays joint at Ceasars,then ordering the same crappy sandwich with fries they eat every week. Just to make sure they didnt went over the $100 voucher they had.

Yeah you can always tell when herbs n rye is paying by the fact Rice orders several rounds of the most expensive appetizers and entrees. When Rice is paying for his own food he gets $1.59 tacos or a $4 burger; and for him that's a real splurge!

He urges that Henderson is better than Las Vegas County and the City of Las Vegas and better than North Las Vegas and more safe.
Henderson is close the airport for Nomadic trips and the Strip for Nomadic hotel stays and guests.
It is quiet and calm at night and not a 24 hour city like the strip area.

Its not uncommon to have spent $100 or alot more on a dinner lifetime.
Even if youre not a foodie that likes to use some money on quality food,there is always stuff like birthdays here and there,celebrating something like a new job or buying a new car,friends dinner,datenight lots more.
I am by no means rich or loaded,but i love good food and i cant count how many $100+ dinners ive had lifetime.

I would be surprised if ELD ever paid $10 for someone else's food and he certainly would never spend $50 on a meal for himself, no matter the circumstances (without using food comps). it's contrary to his very nature.

That was my first thought too. Then again I have known people who were just very easy going and it was their nature to always offer to pay for things/meals, seemingly oblivious to, or unaffected by, the other person's stinginess.

This is Coachella weekend 2 of 2. The entire Coachella Valley is packed nuts to butts. Even dumps are $500 a night. I’m guessing he is sleeping on the street.
This is literally the worst weekend of the year to go to the Palm Springs area if you are on a tight budget.

There's a Las Vegas County? There's a Clark County that Las Vegas is in.
Diesel sure is spending a lot of money on these trips. He's not being very bright. He's acting like his Caesars income will be around forever, and he doesn't have a lot of options when that job ends. If I were in his shoes I would conserve as much as possible, and maybe cultivate an alternate source of income. Who knows what Fertitta will do.
