Fun fact. It was basically common knowledge that Pippen was a better defender than MJ by the mid 90s. It's just the Jordan-Fanboys pushing that into the background.

The rest of your post doesn't even make sense. Just because you love a player, it should have nothing to do with how you assess how good they are relative to another player. Doesn't it actually tell you something. I hated LeBron and he won me over. He was just that good.

But you make a post clowning Steph saying he was schooled by Lebron when it went 7 games and you know Steph was injured. Kerr years later told everyone as Steph was too classy to admit it. He didn't wear a cast to the losing press conference like Lebron. But Steph has beaten Lebron in more finals but you only mention the one time Lebron got lucky to beat Steph. But why didn't you say Steph schooled Lebron more times?

Btw you dare mention Bogut who you say is your boy too. But don't say he was injured too in the finals you claim Lebron "schooled" Steph. Insulting to you claim you are fans of Bogut and Steph. No planet Lebron could school Steph!

Since primary ballhandlers can't produce the best basketball (dynasties or dominant title runs) as 1st option, they can't be in the top 10 all-time...

Accordingly, the top 10 should be a subjective mix of the best jumpshooters and bigs ever, since these skillsets routinely produce the best basketball as "the guy"... I prefer to put the jumpshooters over the bigs, so my top 10 is MJ, Kobe, Curry, Bird, Russell, Wilt, Kareem, Duncan, Shaq, Jokic...

And by "jumpshooters", we're talking about players with the most expert jumpshootong skill, aka expert jumpshooters.

This is the most logical and intuitive top 10 out there.

I'm sorry, but FG has said we can't use Kyrie and Love's injuries in 15 as an excuse for Cavs losing, so you think Curry being about 85% is an okay excuse?

Jokic must use his passing threat to score, sort of like people saying Jordan used his scoring threat to pass... This means that Jokic needs tons of touches to score a lot and carry the scoring load.

Unfortunately, defenses get worn down less when 1 guy has heavy touches on offense.. I understand that Jokic makes quick decisions and doesn't hold the ball long, but it's still a lot of touches required to get 30, and defenses are less worn down against the Nuggets than the more equitable touch distribution of Curry's Warriors for example...

Essentially, the Nuggets can't play a system like the Warriors because then Jokic won't score enough for the team's needs - that's the point - great scorers like MJ, Curry and Kobe can get 30+ in a system with fewer touches - they don't need a bunch of assists and the threat of passing to score 30 like Jokic does..

With that being said, Jokic's high-assist approach is still more effective than a point guard style ball-dominator because Jokic uses far less hold-time overall during a game, so his brand wins with less than Lebron and other ball-dominators.

Jokic can do whatever he wants. He chooses to pass to get his players involved. He is the complete player. If he wanted he could score more effectively than anyone, not sure about jordan lol. Maybe not Jordan. But his outlet passes and great passing in general make the goat argument close. Coffee is for closers Jokic needs at least one more title i think to be considered goat. Lebron did't show up to start this game and was like thanks guys Kinard and Hachimura. But when the game is over the narrative as always the goat lebron james won a game with his 2 best players not playing. Good thing Hachimura and Kinard realized Lebron's not the guy that we need to ball out. Lebron had the best plus minus on the team while developing Luke Kennard and DeAndre Ayton into exactly the superstars he needed. Even his sperm was a +3 for the game. An efficient master class. Durant 4 years younger but body can't go. Luka and Austin had bodies that couldn't go. 41 year old can still go and was the best player on the court from bell to bell.
