Yeah, pretty much the same story as eb.

And yes, much of Sigur Ros (and post-rock in general) is slow burn/build.

I’m glad you like Starálfur; it’s a top-5 piece of music for me.

Yeah

My bad.

I moved house between starting this and now. 2 hours has been shaved off my daily commute and so I don't have so much listening time. I've had to call my podcast subscription lost too.

Eric- The Corries

Flower of Scotland - Think this might be the best of the 3. Bit more of an anthem. I could possibly envisage more scenarios where this would fit. Perhaps at a sporting event or a protest to try to stop the government closing the tin works. Also would be good to hear live at a pub.

It is, in fact, all of these things. For a long time it was the unofficial Scottish anthem, but I have a feeling that it was made the official anthem.
