NFL Offseason 2026
it's the most wonderful time of the year for pretend GMs - the NFL Offseason!
Sure the games are fun, but the 7 months of
I feel like there were very few future high picks traded this year, so it seemed like a weak draft. I know the Eagles took a bunch of upside picks after the 2nd round, but Lemon and Stowers seem like very good picks to me. I know Greenard is 4/$100M, but only half is guaranteed. Also, trading for Jaire Alexander last year netted them $900k and some cap credit. He never suited up
Greenard extension is cheap compared to his level of production too. Only gave up 2 3rds instead of the premium pay every other edge is getting (greenard is coming off an injury however)
Eagles took a guy at the last round with no draft photo and may or may not know what a football is, big f'ing athletic dude though so why not.
one draft analyst cracked me up criticizing the browns for taking a qb with the capital they used last year and watson still there and it's like that's why dude read those names again.
Draft is always going to be somewhat of an inexact science but I lost it with all these blocking TE's during still premium draft rounds--just stupid. That and whatever the Jaguars and 49ers were doing. The draft shouldn't be that hard, mostly it's figure out what you need, pick someone worthwhile. Then some nuance ie, don't pick a RB in the top 5 or some non premium position early off ball LB/S in the top 10 kinda thing (this draft had a few due to lower than average class, but it's tough to justify) If you are though, Love was the closest you can get justification as RB class was weak and there was only one worth taking in round 1. Only 2 worth it until round 4 (round 3 had one but the 49ers love to pick one they shouldn't in the 3rd round for whatever reason).
Jets have been actually good in the draft in recent years and it hasn't helped them at all so there's just too many layers to NFL success.
JETS
I’m not gonna sit here and pretend I know all the names the Niners drafted. All I know is they drafted a relatively slow undersized wr with their first pick who apparently doesn’t finish any route he runs, yet another rb in the 4th, and despite OL being their bigliest need waited til the 4th to get one and the 2 they drafted are unlikely to make the roster and for some stupid ****ing reason even more edge rushers
I’m ****ing tired man
Jets might win 6 games and i am HYPEEEEEEEEEE
WEMBYLICIOUS
nobody knows what it means
its provocative, it gets the people GOING

I have higher hopes for Stribling. He was an absolute stud receiver in the clutch at Ole Miss. I hope you're surprised.
favourite names from this year's Draft
something of a down year IMO with less Hall of Fame names this year. And a disappointing lack of exotic alliteration. But still....some luxurious names for us all to enjoy. Congratulations to all the mothers and fathers responsible for these
Davison Igbinosun
Malachi Fields
Emmanuel Pregnon
Jaishawn Barhum
Gennings Dunker
Febechi Nwaiwu
Wesley Williams
Genesis Smith
Bryce Boettcher
Ephesians Prysock
George Gumbs Jr
Hezekiah Masses
Seydou Traore
Dametrius Crownover
Trey Smack
Quintayvious Hutchins
Dametrius Crownover is my #1 pick. Trey Smack really needed to be a LB or Safety....not a place kicker
Pavia Rotting???

There was some guy with the first name Squirrel that was draft eligible this year.
Lynch gets, er, eviscerated. Obviously 230 at 227 isnβt a reach, or even 71 at 66, plus theyβve made Super Bowls with Jimmy G & Mr Irrelevant, and Moody was fine pre injury, but still a strong A- take. I think the pick has to be 10% off eg 70@63 to be considered a reach.
Why stop at 2023?
Spoiler
At least Trey Lance is still itl.
meh, Warren Sharp is a shill
Lynch came in in 2017. if you give him & Shanny two years to get the team something like the team they want and judge them from 2019, the 49ers are 6th in regular season wins and 2nd in post season wins
βMan, if you got a gun to my head, I'd say it's AR, " Tomlin said.
You just be you. Coach, and youβll be just fine.
