Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs
Gobbo other Thread got closed by the mod said it doesn't belong in the House of Blogs, hoping we can have this one witho
I refused to sell any percent of a 10k WPT tourney that I had won in a giveaway raffle at Commerce Casino while I was homeless sleeping in my car and my networth was <10k. I was certain that I was going to win the tournament, I did not cash.
Yes, but in that tournament did you six bet shove AK off at the beginning of the second level, get stacked then say "oh well, variance"?
You are an absolute massive fav to dont having to worry about being roasted in here like the Whack Packers does. You are a massive fav to not even coming close. These guys are like 0,2 percent of the population losers and clowns in all kinds of ways. The official Whack Pack members as of today is Rice/Vegaspokernomad,Trooper and Pman.Rice is the untouchable president/supreme lead
I would say that TBC is also squarely in the whackpack based on personality and behaviour. However I'm not sure if lack of YouTube channel keeps him out. His blog certainly contains some all time classics though which are up there with the best of the core members
If sleeping on roofs of downtown Las Vegas casinos back in the day doesn't get you in the club, I don't know what does. lol

TBC is nuts but is actually a decent winner for his stakes. He's Phil Ivey compared to these jokers.

Yeah that is very true. How he has survived with his sock roll for so long is quite incredible and a feat that would be well beyond the capabilities of the others. But I'm not sure this prevents him from being a member as he is sure one whacked out guy!

His obvious skill at poker keeps him out.
The official Whack Pack members as of today is Rice/Vegaspokernomad,Trooper and Pman.Rice is the untouchable president/supreme leader because of his absolute non stop buffoonery and clown behaviour. Several regular posters in this thread is also having the opinion that CasinoNomad should be included as well.
Casino Nomad has to be a bonafide member at this point. Any doubts that remained have been erased by his recent uploads and live streams. One thing that we all seem to agree on is that Rice is the Supreme Leader and MVP of the whack pack.
Of all the whack pack members Pman is the most pathetic. He has no job, has no GF, lives in an apartment paid for in full by his daddy. His time seems to be split between getting high on the couch, and pretending to be a poker pro online. He has zero shame e-begging on twitter for freebies, stakes and handouts from actual poker players. He doesn't even bother to make YouTube videos anymore which just as well because he would have literally nothing to put in them.
Rice is definitely the biggest clown and buffoon, but Pman is the most pathetic. At least the other members manage to either have a job or a GF.
TBC. Not a vlogger. Not in Vegas.
Not qualified for the Whack Pack. That's my vote at least.
Guys I'm new here and I was thinking about starting a poker vlog myself. What would I need to do to avoid this level of mockery of my own vlog?
Also, who are the worst offenders here/who's in the whackpack?
Good questions, Rich. I've read some of your blog and recall watching at least one video that you made some years ago. I would advise against becoming a poker vlogger. If you do decide to do it, I would advice against visiting this thread ever again, as the comments here will be needlessly cruel.
The gold standard of poker vloggers is probably Andrew Neeme. Other top contenders include Brad Owen, Jaman Burton, and Jeff Boski. Jake Cody did a good job for a while but made only 22 videos. It turns out it takes a lot more time and effort to record and edit these videos than most people realize, so a lot of people try it for a while but don't keep up with it. Another vlogger I like is Marty Poker in SoCal, but he seemed to fizzle out after making 41 videos (and was never discussed here that I recall).
What do the best vlogs have in common? The vloggers are winning players first and foremost. You meet that criterion. But beyond that, they are attractive and charismatic on camera; they are able to articulate their thought process during a hand in a way that is both reasonable and entertaining; and they seem to have their act together in life outside of poker too.
Let me selectively quote from one of your recent posts:
I am undisciplined. I lack discipline. Need to work on that somehow. Self-flagellation maybe? My friend who trains martial arts used to hit his shins with sticks to make them harder and to make himself used to the pain.… My game oscillates between playing near perfect to playing just reckless and lost. I think recently I had been feeling lost when playing. Like really un
If you write these thoughts, that's one thing. If you make a video and say these things, you will get roasted. You even describe your game as whack! And then there's your history of living out of a car/van—that's fodder for mockery for sure. Several of the biggest targets here live out of casinos and Airbnbs and sometimes their cars, including several who are not even poker players but get widely discussed here anyway (e.g., Casino Nomad and BikeKing).
Who's in the whack pack? These are the top four; there are others:
Tim Watts: (aka The Trooper): A failed poker player who's nonetheless very arrogant. He and his girlfriend/wife live in a nice apartment, but no one knows how they can afford their lifestyle.
Zach somebody (aka Vegas Poker Nomad, aka Rice Is a Spoon Food): An Ivy League and law school graduate and a failed poker player and sometime dealer who's nonetheless very arrogant.
James Urbanic (aka PmanPrays): A wannabe poker player who almost never plays, had one lucky score in the WSOP employee event 2 years ago, but is otherwise a losing player who is very deluded about his abilities and prospects. He lives in a nice condo, but no one knows how he can afford it.
Tony BigCharles (aka sevencard2003): A winning low-stakes poker player who loses a lot at video poker and slots and appears to have some mental health challenges. He doesn't have a driver's license or a permanent address, so he spends a lot of money on Ubers and hotel rooms and Airbnb's. He doesn't even making videos, but he's been blogging for years and posts on Twitter as well.
The common thread is that these people are failures at poker and/or life, so readers here love to roast them to make ourselves feel better, I guess. It is actually the delusion and arrogance that trigger many of us. Early on, many posters tried to give both Trooper and Pman advice to help them succeed at poker, but this advice, including offers of free coaching, was routinely ignored or dismissed. And that pissed people off.
So the question is, would you come across on camera more like Andrew Neeme and Jake Cody or more like The Trooper, Fat Zach, Pman, and TBC? If it's the latter, then what possible motivation could you have for subjecting yourself to such scrutiny and criticism, where what you look and sound like and everything you say and do, whether it's poker-related or not, gets picked apart and mocked?
Also, it's not certain you'll be allowed to film in the card rooms where you play, so that's something to consider as well.
Catch the last 20 seconds of this youtube short video.Rice did a good job holding back his tears. https://youtube.com/shorts/2Z8LnrqKPuQ?s...
I've wasted all my tears
Wasted all of those years
And nothing had the chance to be good
Cause nothing ever could
Rheem, Soverel and Salomon need to team up with Trooper. They were down 500k playing slots recently and ended up 2.5 million. I don't know if they could keep up with Trooper who is the hardest working slot hustler out there but they could try. His knowledge would help them immensely.
Those 3 bottom-feeders definitely need to convince slots revolutionary Trooper to take them under his wing so that they can make some real slots money. Trooper is revolutionizing slots AP play.
Btw, guys, it's Wack, not Whack.
I don't want to have to 911-call spelling policeman Rice to correct you.
Use whack (with an 'h') for striking, hitting, or a loud noise.
Use wack (no 'h') to describe something bad or eccentric.
Today ELD arrives at the strip six hours early and engaged in Nomadic walks, poker at MGM, and weight room before his shift.
In the parking garage ELD compares his two rakes and states his old rake lasted one year. The new rake has been sanded and is now ready for varnish.
ELD may send dimensions to Herbs and Rye to have same construct a rake to ELD's specifications.
Meanwhile, Nomadic Duck reports he lost all of his Spirit miles.

Agree. TBC is definitely in the ‘Fab 4’.
Anyone here with Photoshop skills?
Would love to see a Mt. Rushmore re-creation with Rice, Trooper, Pman and TBC..
bikeking and casino nomad are definitely in the wack pack
