POGs 2025 WSOP Trip!
The other blogs have been a good read so thought why not do my own 😃
I've booked it all earlier today, 17 nights at the
Not sure what my final P/L was, I kept track on my old phone then never bothered after I lost it, think it was around 1k down overall so nearly made my 10k buy in back, can't complain.
Massive downgrade playing in the WSOP last week and now playing at my local pub tonight lol
lol of course I went and won, 29 players and I ran like grinder on the FT hitting everything getting lucky and knocking everyone out
Where was that sun run during the ME :(
A win is a win. Nice.
Are there any WSOP Europe or EPT tournaments within easy traveling distance to scratch your itch until next year's WSOP in Vegas?

If 'POGcrazy94' wants to escape the UK (for weather and other reasons), there is the EPT Malta 1st-12th October:

You're doing a lot better than me. My closest "local" game is 80 miles away.
Reading through this again, can't believe it's nearly been a year already
Best time of my life by a mile, need to do it again.
Was thinking for my 40th but that's 2034 don't know if I can wait that long :p

The good thing is 1) You are apparently nowhere near 40 and 2) You can do it again in less than one month!
I guess my point is, don't wait for some kind of arbitrary milestone to go to Vegas, just go whenever you can and feel like it 😀
Will need to save up for it again, I suppose I could go without playing the ME
Definitely not this year though as i'm going to Boston for a week when Scotland are playing at the WC, still hoping I can get tickets somehow but i'm not paying a mental amount #****FIFA

Me and my brother have tickets for Norway vs Iraq in Boston on the 16th June. But match tickets were expensive AF yes, it was $500 a piece. Bought them through the FIFA-site in the ticket draw for January.
It's also super expensive to stay almost anywhere in the Boston-area around that time, so we are still deciding on where to stay and how to best travel to the stadium etc.
Edit: Guess we will be in Boston around the same time as the Norway-match we are watching is on the 16th, and Scotland's games are 13th and 19th.
(will also spend a week-ish in Vegas before the game)

How long would it take you to play 100 hours? Horseshoe is having a "freeroll" with a tournament at the end of May, which prizes include a Main Event ticket. 100 hours at poker required.

Boston is one of those super-urban areas that has trains that go all over. Maybe you can commute to the game(s).
