i think it's dumb to tip those people, they had nothing to do with it, they are just performing a tax issue
only reason why i tipped was because as an ap, i was going to be hitting them with some regularity and didn't want any negative scrutiny coming from slot floors

hard to say, i didn't do it in vegas, i was also doing it because i was already there to bet on sports anyway and it didn't make sense to
meaning i wasn't prioritizing slots, nor doing it at the optimal times
and do we include discovery? do we include wandering aimlessly seeing if the things you already checked have moved? because there's a fuqton of that for me, because i would come to bet on specific things, my biggest edge was betting 2hs at halftime, so i was constantly in a "got 30 minutes to kill, let's go check those one more time" situations
if i had a good clean and efficient run and had ample high stakes slots available and kept several thousand on me at all times to reach for the big ones, it would definitely be in line with lionel hultz' suggestion, but those were few and far between for me, i probably made around $20 an hour, but it was time where i'd have needed to do something anyway, usually that time would be poker (i actually started checking slots whenever i would get up and walk for a few minutes to force a poker break because i'm otherwise one of those 14 hour session guys so needed to force myself to take breaks), but a lot of casinos with slots don't have poker, especially those where i have been living last 2 years
trooper has also been running like god, video after video of his he hits a top 1% outcome, for example, i've never hit a major or grand on buffalo/phoenix but he's hit many of them - but he's also playing way more of those because i often don't even bother checking those unless i've checked everything else because those are so well known and checked that you almost never find a play on them

This is the most important part. The way he has run he would be up 6 figures even if he was just straight up gambling on slots without any AP knowledge whatsoever. I know APs who have been doing it 5+ years and have never hit a single Grand Jackpot.
Then there is Trooper who has won 3 in under a year. Like you say, the amount of times he has got a top 1% result is crazy. Even when taking plays way too early he gets rewarded, or miraculously bailed out when it's looking like going bad.
It's not going to always be like that though. When the variance pendulum swings the other way is when Trooper will be tested. Will he tighten up or will he start gambling even more on spots that aren't even close to +EV

If Trooper just shoves pre every hand blind he's going to have 25% equity against RDP's calling range at a bare minimum. Plus who knows how much of a chip lead he will have acquired by the time he finally gets called. Troopers EV in a $10k HU freeroll would have to be at least $5k assuming the prize for winning is $20k. There's no way his EV from playing slots is anywhere near

I kind of doubt he is anywhere near $120/hr, I have said he shouldn't have a problem making $30/hr in this thread and got tons of backlash for it but $120/hr is a bit rich in todays AP world, esp when he seems to just stick to the links and has said in his videos the low hanging fruit is a waste of time.
Making $8 in ev might sound like a waste of time but that can quickly add up to $150/hr when that ev takes all of 10 secs to collect, He doesn't seem to bother with it and just wants to play the long run games like phoenix link.

Yup,except Fat Zach/Rice doesent think rationally or clearly for that matter. He is only totally obsessed with keeping his streak of daily videos going-regardless if its trash or not.

I am going to predict that the "pressure" of producing high quality content on a regular schedule will cause Pman to succumb to anixety/insomnia/diaper rash and force him to take a hiatus halfway through the series and perhaps an attempt to collect disability/unemployment/severance pay for all his self diagnosed afflictions.

His streak previously ended a while back anyway, when he was re-uploading old content "revisit" videos of his old videos when he had started dealing and was too busy to vlog. Re-uploading old content doesn't count. I pointed this out to him in a comment, he stated that it does count, lol, and he went back to uploading random rambling videos.
Rice based his hands dealt per hour on just a couple downs. It's possible for a dealer to get out a high number of hands if the game is very nitty.
Based on today's ramblings about fast dealers bringing in more rake, his biggest fan the Cpa advised Rice that if he gets an MBA he will be the CEO of a casino in 10 years.
