LVL Regs WSOP planning & meet up thread
@Mods....if you agree, maybe this might go in the stickys?
Both to manage (and potentially add to) my growing excitement
CET has a 10x multiplier that ends 5/31 and a 5x multiplier that starts 6/22. You've managed to dodge 2 multipliers that are only 3 weeks apart. Apparently you really enjoy paying resort fees.
A small aside - if you get a comped room at the Orleans, they comp the resort fees too.
God damnit I wrote out a few paragraphs and 2+2 reloaded on me. Anyway. ..
Ill be there from June 5th-13th. Playing monster stack, couple other tournaments as well. Ill be staying at Horseshoe and ive never met an IRL 2+2er so if a game gets going id love to jump in.
Dont really drink anymore, but if that happens id be happy to have a couple whiskeys and play 1-3.
Pig, I am certainly happy to wait many more years to play the senior events but if you want some tourney advice you should have no problem beating the brakes off those guys. Its a great opportunity to have a real shot at a bracelet. Just have faith in your reads

Meh, no thanks. Tried for two years and couldn't get anywhere.
I’m not a LVL reg because I’ve never done a TR but I’ll be out June 6-11th staying at Vdara and playing in 66% of the LHE events scheduled in Vegas over the summer.
You guys are really making me regret the timing of my Alaska trip, lol
First of hopefully 2 trips for WSOP. Another shot at the Industry Employees event, lots of landmark satellites and some at the Orleans. I would love to chat with any LVL regs over a drink or a meal. Especially for trip report providers like our bracelet hunter David. Good luck all!
May 25 - June 1
Am I the only one slumming it up at Flamingo?
I think maybe Tony is staying there for a few days? I'm at Horseshoe, so not exactly luxuriating either...I do have a booking still at Vdara too, but can't justify it right now
I will go through the thread & send a summary for Mark to update the OP later today with notes on resorts people are staying at
15 days for me....not ideal timing for me in a few ways, but still....I cannot ****ing wait
Signature is where I'm staying
Pretty bummed not looking like Vegas for me this year
Had a darn long streak of years, will rail thru the trip reports
Go Oscar from our usual wsop group in 2026!
Welcome to 2+2. First WSOP? Awesome. You'll have a blast. I'm also originally from the UK and will be there during your dates. I have a pretty intensive schedule but happy to meet up when I'm free.
Amazing thanks. Trip now finalised for the 12th to the 19th. I'm staying at CP for 1 night and then the remainder compd at The Flamingo.
I'm planning to play the Colossus last flight on the 13th although hoping I'm not too jet lagged. Then hoping to head to the South Point Summer Series for a flight. Potentially an MGM $500 flight, daily deepstacks and cash.
It's a semi holiday from the stresses of work back in the UK so definitely some pool time and a few drinks in between. It would be good to meet up and presume this thread will be where that gets arranged?
GL!
Looks like 3 nights Jun 21 - 24 Sun - Wed for Salute to Warriors and (likely) other non WSOP tournaments Mon and Tue. Booked Ellis Island ($200 total) since Horseshoe seemed a bit high ($107/night avg? Thru CET)
Went deep recently at Talking Stick deep stack and have been holding my own in other smaller tournaments, so hoping to catch lightening in LV.
Will likely document with live or ex post facto TR.
Feels good to have a plan, finally.

Not sure if AI would have made it better or worse!
Staying at Paris with the woman and the dog. He'll only be on the floor going in for the stay, when needing to piss, and checkout. ill be the white dude with the short Asian woman, and an old english sheepdog who looks like a Dalmatian cause they butchered his hair today.
June 5th-13th. Playing monster stack, $500 freezeout (if i bust day 1 of monster), and $600 NL/PLO on Monday if not in either of the first two. Throw in a venetian or DDS later in the week.
Otherwise ill play cash at Caesars, Paris, Venetian, and Horseshoe if totally desperate but I despise that room. Between there and Bellagio I dont know which ive ran worse at.
Can't ****ing wait

I think Horseshoe will be worse than ever through the Series. I don't think they've dropped the jackpot rake, but they have dropped the 2 weekly freerolls and changed the high hand to hourly instead of half-hourly. My guess is they lost a bundle on the WSOP Warmup promo.

Hmmmm...white dude, short Asian woman, VincentVega. Well played, sir!
But wasn't it Butch Coolidge (played by Bruce Willis) who was with the short Asian woman, and ultimately caused the demise of Vincent Vega (played by John Travolta) when returning to his apartment for a certain gold watch that had a certain sentimental value?
I'm pretty sure Butch's girlfriend was French.
