After watching today's vid, I'm definitely never tipping Rice again. Look forward to seeing how he retaliates, as he says in the video, dealers can make the experience unpleasant for a player who announces he's never tipping.

It is of course completely meaningless over the course of a month/year if certain players don't tip, or if the amount of tips on a given day is lower than usual. The important thing is the average amount of tips over time. Dealers who aren't crybabies understand this. It takes a low level of maturity to recognize that your job is not to antagonize or retaliate against your customers, regardless of how much they do or don't tip. It's discretionary, after all.

Rice recently mentioned a player that was hugely overtipping, resulting in the second most tips he made in a single shift, but does not seem to understand the concept.

Actually, I think the real number that's hidden is $25k. The graph tracks with a $10k to $12k hit from Grand Jackpots and smaller $5k hits. His biggest loss he said he had was $5k which also tracks in that graph.

While it could also be $50k since he was bragging before that people would be shocked at his graph, he's ignorant enough to think $35k is a lot of money won.

That's not AP and real AP hate those kinds of people. Also back before MGM bought out Cosmo, Cosmo would actively look and 86 those AP who are called Creators cause they get tourists to create a play.

Next time, talk to a slot attendant especially if he's in high limit. Those guys will at least be asked to leave the area.

It's crazy how it's 100% the dealer's fault for dropping too much rake when they are on reduced rake and Diesel somehow assigns partial blame TO THE PLAYER cause they didn't speak up soon enough before the rake was dropped.

Then his suggestion to fix it is to give the player the overage from the rack and then take money from the next pot's rake and put it into the box to make it even.

Does Diesel know that dealers aren't suppose to make decisions themselves and are suppose to call the floor?

If this clown ever becomes dual rate or a full time floor, which by the way would probably be his dream job to make binding decisions with a smug smile while walking away, it's over for that room.

I would love to see him do this and then on his break be pulled aside by the floor, who informs him that security saw him stealing from the rack and giving the chips to the player. Even if it's just $1 this has to be the biggest violation a casino employee can do.

This is similar to him arguing with a traffic cop who's told him to stop at an intersection.

i've heard of this before but never seen it, this is not ap, most aps you have no clue unless you know the specific things to look for - anytime you're in a slot room, there's at least 2-3 in your line of sight at all times, a small little casino will still have a half dozen working the floor, patrolling the machines in their own specific route and checking to see if anyone has played and left it in a good spot since last time they played

if you ever see someone, usually an old asian person just sitting down and not playing, it's probably an ap who decided it's better to sit and camp a specific set of machines in case someone plays them into a good state and leaves

Those hits were chopped and I would assume he would track his personal profits and not the overall win.

Even if that line is $50k which would put his overall profits around $65k, as much as he’s hustling, that’s not that impressive of an hourly and overall winnings.

Couple that with the fact he mostly checks the Buffalo and Phoenix link slots and doesn’t check all the other smaller plays is laughable.

A sub $20 profit on a play is just fine and it all adds up over time.

I don't know. When I saw him he was walking around before the start. But then, he likes to just walk around and do nothing. I saw him doing that in the Horseshoe poker room while I was playing my 150 hours. I never saw him at a table, just walking around.

$65k is probably considerably higher than his usual annual earn in the Westgate/t-shirt/candy era.

$65k is probably the most he has ever made since coming to Vegas.

My friend first complained to the attendant in the room; they referred him to the security desk.

The fat toad guy really spotted a sucker in my friend. I don't know if you hit Ceasars too often but if you do, the guy seems to hang out in the small slot room by the table games. It is fairly high limit, my friend was dropping $75 a pull...there is another higher slot limit slot room, but that isn't room the guy was in. He was there both Saturday & Sunday evenings. Turns out I'm going back to Vegas next weekend; I am curious to see if he is there again. The guy is 60ish, very overweight and seems to have a mild case of tardive dyskinesia involving his mouth. I never saw him drop a nickel in a machine. He was basically just sitting around.

I guess it's possible, but its hard to wrap my head around the proposition that poopers went from being a failed candyman, 5+ figs in the hole, to a AP gangster making 5 figs plus in as many months.

It would be funny if the number is something like 1k or 5k. Why would he edit it out if was actually proud of the dollars and it was real?

At the simple-ist, if he "makes" 100k on AP slots (and he doesnt go busto), he's gonna owe 24k in taxes. There is a paper trail on all the handpays.
