I had the situation with the overpaid rake come up today, and the dealer himself noticed it -- he called the floor over and said he took out too much rake because the hand was played 5-handed, which means reduced rake. The dealer said, I'm going to give him a dollar off of the rake from the next pot, OK. OK. And so the next hand, he pulled 1 chip off the rake drop and gave it to me. Simple. No cage/rack/pot involvement, just $1 that was destined for the house was diverted to me. The previous discussion actually confused me, because it really is just that simple.

Quite interesting that the big reason he said he couldn't work a normal job or put in massive hours playing poker was his insomnia yet here he is following this guy around all day everyday for the duration of the series?
