Pats-Eagles trade also seems like a win win. I want to say that AJB is more valuable than that, but the Eagles got him for a 1st/3rd? Also, it's not like they had any leverage when trading him.
A late first (I assume Pats will be pretty reasonable in 2027) and a fifth for Brown seems about fair. He's in the WR10-15 range or so and still has a few more years of solid production.

Plus he doesn’t seem to fit with Hurts/the offense they want to run (which IMO is more of a negative comment about them than him) and he must be an effort to manage given all the noise. So prolly an addition by subtraction too

I have no idea what offense the Eagles want to run. It's been a revolving door of coordinators. I'm definitely on team Hurts and think that AJB has been ridiculous and often leaves the QB out to dry, but he's obviously is a great talent and will be good for the Pats for 2-3 years until he decides he's pissed about something.
AJB and Maye are a perfect fit.
Yeah, Brown feels like a very great fit for the Pats.
Think Eagles will be just fine running Smith, Brown, whoever they have at TE. And oh yeah, some guy called Saquon.
I think Hurts struggles were very real last year and if he doesn't have a stacked team around him, I expect more of it
But I'm always very, very skeptical when offenses regress hard and the OC gets most of the blame. Just such an easy scapegoat.
