The Fever need a leader. Every team has a leader and it's supposed to be your best player most of the time. So it should obviously be Caitlin Clarke. But White won't allow Caitlin to be the leader. White wants to be the leader. That's why she humiliates Caitlin in the huddle then benches her. She wants to establish dominance that it's her team and will never be Caitlin's team. So the team is confused. They want to look to Caitlin as the leader but White keeps telling them i'm the leader and Caitlin is whatever i choose her to be which obviously White wants Caitlin to be someone not to be respected by her teammates. As that would be a threat to White's ego and dominance.
Btw what has White ever done to act like she's such a great coach and anything she says should never be questioned because i'm the greatest coach of all time? The fact that Caitlin protects White after she punked her makes me think Caitlin is soft. I thought she was hard and wouldn't take nothing from nobody. Now i see she's Stephanie White's butler. Whatever you need madam. It's really sad.
I'm so frustrated with Caitlin that she doesn't see it. She mocks her fans as being stupid and says her coach is the greatest and she'll ride with her forever. It almost wants me to root for them to lose until Caitlin wakes up.
How doesn't Caitlin's family and friends not see what's happening to her and speak up? Is Caitlin in a cult? Her family needs to help. Her legacy is in the process of being destroyed if nothing changes.

I already knew what they both said about the incident. I spoke about it above. They said everything's great! And caitlin said she'll have White's back forever because Caitlin cried in White's arms when she got injured last year. This is when the Stockholm syndrome maybe began if that's what's happening? Not saying it is but looks like it doesn't it? So that means everything's alright? Whenever a public bad or embarrassing moment happens with celebrities or whoever they always tell the truth right? Like a celebrity couple seen in a fight somewhere then the next day they say we're fine. Nothing to see here. Then they're reports of being divorced a month later.
And sadly it seems Caitlin is being honest that she really loves Stephanie White. It's sad because she's being played. Because White doesn't have Caitlin's back or best interests in mind. Quite the opposite. How much do you have to see to realize that? How much does Caitlin have to see to realize it? Apparently Caitlin needs to see much much more.

So on sunday Bird and Miller talked about the video and Miller said enough is enough you're too disruptive. Sit down and get out the way. Bird agreed. I wonder if they talked with White about it before they went on air with that garbage? Miller and Bird were very disrespectful to Caitlin and talked about her like she was a spoiled little child that needed to be put in the corner. The reason i bring this up is shouldn't White say this narrative being put out that Caitlin is a spoiled little child that needed to be punished is not true. No she said "it was a teachable moment."
If White doesn't have an agenda against Caitlin then why does Caitlin get taken out 3 minutes after the game starts but she doesn't do that to any other starter normally. White said she only took out Boston because she's still on a minutes restriction. Meaning otherwise she would have been allowed to play more minutes normally. Then said but we usually take Caitlin out at that time normally. Didn't say why she took out Lexi Hull. So why is Caitlin Clarke the only starter she pulls after 3 minutes normally? And it's your superstar? Who does that? Nobody except but Stephanie White does that to Caitlin Clarke!

This is very true. Apart from i didn't say she was the 2nd coming of jordan. Her ceiling is definitely much higher than Magic. Her ceiling is the best female basketball player of all time. Was Magic ever considered a possible chance to be the goat? He was playing in the same era as Jordan so the answer is no. So it is correct to say Caitlin's ceiling is much higher than Magic's was. Magic didn't have a jump shot. He was not an offensive threat other than passing to someone else to score. Caitlin is a dual threat of passing or pulling up from anywhere to hit a 3 like Steph Curry.

Amazing you all think White is awesome and she's treating Caitlin right. And it's Caitlin that sucks at basketball and she's a spoiled child that needs to be put in her place by Stephanie White and her teammates.
I'm just mad at Stephanie White as she's ruining my enjoyment of watching my favorite player play great basketball. If White makes Caitlin quit basketball because it's not fun anymore for her we will all miss out on some entertaining basketball.

I was annoyed that the Mystics-Sky game wasn't broadcast*. Then I looked at the box score and learned that Sonia Citron was out with an injury. Now I am less annoyed.
Still, too bad that there are/were four games tonight and I can't watch any of them. Seems like between Ion, USA network, CBS, Peacock and Amazon Prime a big percentage are available nationally.

wnba league pass had aces/sparks free last night but I only knew about that myself the day of so they're not great about telling people when they show free games (next two are the 9th).

I depend on YouTube TV to tell me when there's a game on (or recorded), but that doesn't cover Prime, games on the 'cock that aren't on NBCSN, or league pass so it's not perfect. If I don't see something I'll usually check espn.com, but yeah, it's definitely annoying.

It's just really annoying because we know what Caitlin Clarke is capable of. We saw it after the olympics break of Caitlin's rookie season. I've heard the reason she was so good the after the olympics break is because coach Christie Sides got word she was gonna be out at the end of season and White was coming in. So she decided if she was gonna be out i'll give the keys to Caitlin for the rest of the season and let her play Caitlin ball. And Caitlin showed what she's capable of even as a rookie. Imagine if she was allowed to show what she's capable of now after she's gotten more seasoned.
So we know she can play great but is being stopped by Stephanie White's system. We can argue on whether she's doing it on purpose to hold back Caitlin or if she just thinks the team will be better reigning in Caitlin. She's wrong either way imo. But what's irrefutable is we won't see crazy good Caitlin putting up unreal record numbers in scoring and assists. We won't see balling out Caitlin under Stephanie white's coaching style unless White reverses the way she's using Caitlin and just let's Caitlin be Caitlin. Caitlin will still succeed but it will look such much less as far as her personal achievements and stats which will allow her critics to say she's not that good.
So it's not as fun to watch. Could you imagine if we had to watch Steph Curry being micro-managed by Kerr? That he gets taken out after 3 minutes. That anytime Curry starts cooking he immediately gets pulled out until he can come back in cold? I'm a Caitlin fan first and only a fan of the fever because of Caitlin. So when i see White stifling Caitlin's greatness even if White thinks it's for the "betterment" of the team most people, and especially us Caitlin fans, feel like who cares if the Fever win if our player gets relegated to a role player, or at best people wonder whose the best player on the team. Is it Mitchell, Boston, or Caitlin? When we all know if Caitlin is free to cook she is not only the best on this team, but the best in the league and winning mvps, and in contention for mvp every season. And would have a chance at being the goat someday.
Imagine if Phil Jackson told Jordan ok our objective is for you to feature and get the ball to Bill Cartwright or Horace Grant in the post. And Pippen gets the ball at end of games when the games on the liine. If Jordan agreed to that people would say wow that Cartwright scores alot of points and pippen is the man the team trusts with the ball at the end of game. I bet people would have wondered who the best player on the team is? Because the coach featured Cartwright or it's probably him. But Pippen is close. Jordan lucky to have such great teammates that allow him to play. That's except when Phil Jackson allows him to play as opposed to the times he was chewing out jordan on the bench, and then benches him in front of the whole world to humiliate him for BJ Armstrong. Jordan wouldn't be allowed to unleash what he was capable of and we would have not know how great he was.
Also if Jordan's minutes were limited to that of a role player he wouldn't have all those scoring titles either.
