Yea, but if one busts the full 10k then the other can turn into super nit and fold everything.

by Alpha Fish

so whoever is behind should be going all in every hand when it's close to a finish line? and possibly both if they have similar stacks?
who came up with these rules

by borg23

do you think Trooper is smart enough to realize this if he's behind with a few hands left?

by prairiebreeze

His only legit strat is to sit there, fold until he gets QQ+ and hope RDP goes broke in the meantime.

I gotta assume the sitting is not random for RDP and the Trooper, cause if the sitting is random and Trooper gets lucky and draws great position on RDP, he's a big favorite with all the other rules.
Lot of ways for Trooper (or RDP) to exploit these rules. I'm gonna guess one of them (RDP or Trooper) goes busto before the 100 hands are up.
So I'm thinking Trooper and RDP should be seated with 3 or 4 players in between them ?

by Petrucci

Love that its a fixed structure of playing a 100 hands,so that hitting and running isnt possible.

Hitting and running reminds me of the first poker vloggers meet-up game livestream at Stones. They had started teasing BikeKing calling him McFoldin' bc he was playing nitty. And as soon as he won a big pot, he picked up his stack and left. That was hilarious.

I hope RDP and Trooper are spaced out somewhat evenly and not sat next to each other so that one of them doesn't have a positional advantage almost the whole game.

by pig4bill

That won't work so well if RDP starts building a stack.
Biggest stack is the winner in the end, right?
Trooper is prob going to have to actually play.

As long as Trooper can pass up RDP with one or two double ups nearing the last few hands, he's not out of this thing.
As long as Trooper doesn't panic (like he's done so many times before) he's got some decent equity in this thing.
Common sense can get Trooper a long way in this thing.
And we all know how strong Trooper is when it comes to common sense.

Update on the 10k freeroll

Troop is so full of it. He says the dude isn't on his radar, he knows nothing about him, and people think he's watched dude's videos. Then he describes 3 of the dude's videos that he's watched. Lol.

Here's Trooper getting a 10k freeroll and he can't be bothered to finally mention RDP's name. And he wonders why so many people hate him. He's just not a good person.

Looks like it is pot limit preflop, so no just open jamming at the end, kind of like stars big game show.

I kinda want trooper to crush, Would make this a lot more hilarious.

by parisron

Oh, I just noticed it's 7 handed.
That's a lot of thinking Trooper's gonna hafta do.
So best case scenario is two or three players in between RDP and Trooper.

We all know what's going to happen.

Trooper will look for his live tell on opponents that's a bigger secret than the over-a-century-old secret recipe for Coca-Cola.

BUT, it will be a great game. And we all know that Trooper always gets wrecked in great games.

GG's Troop.

The clown genuinely thinks that RDP is trying to piggyback viewers/fame of his popularity, that's why he won't mention him by name.

If there is one thing that all the wack packers have in common it's a comically grandiose ego that outpaces their actual aptitude by several orders of magnitude.

Trooper getting backed on huge slot plays by Asian Jimmy.

RDP getting backed in any tourney he wants by DNegs.

Advantage RDP.

RDP has gotten Trooper to respond to him 2 videos in a row now on his main channel, and now they are going back and forth with each other. That’s exactly what RDP would want.

Of course Trooper took 16 minutes to respond while RDP takes around 1 or 2 minutes.

Ok, NVM.

What a silly format. A heads-up freezeout would be infinitely more interesting. What's the point of the other five players who are not part of the rivalry?

Today ELD is shown holding a stack of hundred dollar bills.

ELD then has to relocate from the top of Harrah's parking garage to the sidewalk outside of Linq since someone has passed out on the floor of the parking garage (and violating the Rubric to sleep upright in the drivers seat)* and security has "ruined the ambiance" for ELD's pay explanation video.

*Although the Rubric generally requires a Nomad to sleep upright in the drivers seat for the case of a drunk Nomad, it is advised to be in the passenger seat with the key in the trunk to avoid DUI charges.

Later, ELD reports a near ejection of a mean, stupid, and wrong player who eventually left on his own accord. The mean player was saying things ELD could not repeat.

The Condor comes to CET but ELD did not get the opportunity to deal to the Condor's table.

This is the sixth consecutive workday for ELD.

by pig4bill

Who's idea was this? Whoever it was, Trooper should bend over and kiss him on the keester for giving him ten grand to play with.

Of course, this being Trooper, he does the opposite of that.

by GGecko

Taken from the comments on yesterday’s video; the extreme smug arrogance of this clown is beyond intolerable.

Rice nuked the "unsubscribed comment".

That comnent is a clear candidate for the next mean, stupid wrong video for sure.

Also great strawman as usual from Rice, instead of replying to what the poster actually said.

Exactly. This format is stupid.

The key word in what I wrote is HOPE.

The only way Tim wins is if RDP busts. That’s it.

Initially this was my thought too. But the trouble with a heads up match is that it could be over in just a few hands, so the broadcast would be too short.

Also, am I correct in thinking that if either player does not use the second 5K buyin, they get to keep that money regardless of their performance?

I really want to see RDP win but either way his followup video will be hilarious. LOL at Trooper thinking a youtuber with more than twice his subs is mining him for content. RDP is funny with or withoug the trooper moment. His latest video has some true gems. Check out the remark about Shaun Deeb's neck for example.

LOL at Trooper thinking a youtuber with more than twice his subs is mining him for content.

And more importantly at least 10x the views per video

Rice just cannot wait to flex his muscles and ban a player he deems unruly or not following his personal rubric. He sounded very disappointed today that someone he felt was out of line left before Rice could "eject" him. I get that players can sometimes be annoying and/or misbehave, but to be a dealer seeking opportunities to ban them is just crazy. The phrase "shut up and deal" was made for him. Or better, shut TF up and deal.

That's all he needs? One or two double-ups on command?

From the comments section of Troop's Unrivaled video today. Last comment is gold:

Exactly.FWIW if i was playing in a game he was dealing i can assure you it would have taken me a very short time to tell this fat rude bastard to STFU and concentrate on dealing the cards.
