Yeah, I agree Borg. I just don’t know why anyone cares that RDP was ghosted in some online tourney years ago. I am actually defending RDP because I think he’s funny and a decent guy but that nuance is hard on the deuce these days.
yeah while being ghosted is shady as hell in general we need to accept the fact that it's very common in online tournaments and it's not like there's some smoking gun evidence that he actually did it
Today ELD reports from the Bally's parking garage and indicates that he will keep monitoring the change of ownership for its effects on the Nomadic Method.
ELD states that the two main rewards programs are MGM and CET which are relevant for Nomads.
All i know is the Degen debriefs have been ****ing hilarious recently. If trooper had half a brain in his body he could parlay this into a return to some legitimate views. But we all know that wont happen.
Trooper's problem isn't IQ - he likely has average to slightly above-average IQ. His problem is laziness, particularly mental laziness. That leads him to poor judgement on business/financial matters and also to formulating ridiculous belief systems.
I strongly disagree with this statement.
I have a hunch RDP is above average intelligence and Trooper is well below average intelligence.
Yeah I am probably wrong on this about RDP, Trooper definitely is an idiot and incredibly lazy. RDP is funny, likable, and actually has a sense humor along with being self deprecating, none of which Trooper has. Also, Trooper is so much more stubborn than RDP, Trooper had to be shamed into using a players card after coining in probably 40k plus on bad Buffalo plays, which represents free play and food trooper desperately needed back then before he went on his sun run.
Trooper's problem is his personality not his IQ. He has the emotional intelligence and regulation of an angry hornet.
skimmed through the poker play, it was very clear that trooper had no real understanding of what he needed to do, that his strategy was not to embrace variance and see what happens towards the end but rather just hope the poker gods bailed him out
folding that combo draw with iirc top pair to a second barrel was horrific - but nowhere near as bad as how he folded hand and hand and then towards the end there were multiple spots where a bluff would have taken down the pot and he checks it back and then folds to a bluff
dude just lacks a 2nd gear where he's able to think through anything coherently, and ryan realized his great luck that trooper didn't understand this either and got rightfully quite upset at the people reminding trooper that he had to get it in anyway because busting was same result as folding - even despite that, trooper still ignored it and just kept folding

Isn't ignoring good advice, and continuing to troop down the wrong path, the standard method of operation at almost everything for Trooper?
Sometimes leading the wack pack is a pretty tough job.

yes, i know he famously turned down free coaching, and this was sqwids assessment as well
but that stuff was all things which required hard work so i thought perhaps a lot of it was just laziness
now i know it wasn't just a lack of work ethic
The best part of the stream is when Trooper plays dumb with RDP asks him about his Slot AP:
Starts at 1:51:17
Jesus, he went into a shell fast. and Ryan was like he won't tell you about his life then I will, and Trooper had fear on face of what might get said about his either of his channels and denying that is his channel or that he plays a lot slots. lol

Financial Advisor in a dress looks out a balcony and states that Casino Nomad has not been following her advice.
It is so strange Trooper tries these character assassinations on anyone he doesn’t like because they just make the person seem more normal and Trooper weirder. He’s a 50 y/o childless (that we know of) guy in an odd relationship to a woman he isn’t married too. Trooper is the weird one and he’s so bad at everything he does it is crazy, make some Italian jokes, say RDP and his w
Yup. You don’t see Jaman complaining that he has a bunch of crazy haters that are potentially sex offenders. You don’t see Brad making that complaint, or RDP, or Rampage, or Neeme. I haven’t seen a single vlogger complain about that besides Trooper.

I think he really didn’t want to be there and that’s one reason he almost never got involved. There was a chance RDP would just run badly, lose a few big hands and Trooper would win the money by just sitting there and doing almost nothing.
His extreme nitty play at the end was pretty shocking though.

Hilarious take. He does 12 hours a day of AP slots grinding. He worked pretty damn hard on the whole candy empire thing. And no one worked harder than him when he played that WSOP main event that he charged 25% markup for.
The problem for Trooper isn't that he doesn't work, it's that he works on the wrong things and that he doesn't work smart. He's a hustler, he works hard not smart.
Lol at him having above average intelligence. He wouldn't even be close to average IQ. As dumb as I always thought him to be, the rivals live stream game proved that he's even dumber than I had thought.

But is Trooper the toughest? Could he beat up everyone of them if he wanted to?
Man, I miss your posts... I never got tired of that shtick.
I haven’t checked the vlogs in almost ten days…been on a cruise. Did I miss anything? Rice still employed?

Which is why I said he was mentally lazy especially. The vast majority of businesses fail for one reason - people dive into the 'easy' busy work without doing the hard mental work first, ie the strategic planning. That's Trooper to a T.
As for IQ, I stand by my opinion. His problem isn't IQ, it's EQ - mental laziness, ego, etc..
