WNBA 2026 Season Thread
I live in a multi-unit complex. I share a wall in my living room with the living room of my next-door neighbor.
Several
Youβre hanging a lot of weight on a bitch no one outside of Target Center has ever heard of.
McBride and Howard are old as dirt. And the rookie wall comes for everyone. No exceptions. Good luck
Except Candace Parker, Maya Moore, Tamika Catchings ...
Dorka won the Euroleague MVP, also she just needs to be a serviceable bench player.
Phee is a proven star, you seem super confident she's not coming back.
You dont need to tell me what Collier is dude
I’m super confident NY is a superteam.
I’m super confident Las Vegas at reasonable health is better than Minnesota at comparable health. I’m incredibly confident that Minnesota’s entire team is an injury red flag that I want no part of in the short or long term
You’re just speculating and hoping for her to be at full health immediately. This league is tougher than ever. She just isnt walking back into playoff basketball and dominating. It’s a real long shot. And then you also want Miles to still be red hot. And i guess for McBride and Howard to never tweak anything at 35+
I still like Atlanta’s chances better just because Atlanta’s top 7 are rock solid
If Miles is instantly Maya Moore and Collier is instantly Napheesa Collier then sure, they have a fighting chance
Im taking the under
I call
I literally own Lynx merchandise and wear it

Aces and Liberty also old. Atlanta apparently wants Reese to shoot 4 threes a game.
Aces are shallow, it works because A'ja is the GOAT, Loyd is the worst contract in the league(well maybe 3rd worst after Mo Billings and Alanna Smith) might not punish them this year but it's a bomb. Chennedy is going to self-sabotage at some point.
Reeve is the best coach in the league. They play team ball.
She's an absolute beast, super streaky though.
Atlanta is actively painful to watch for 1-2 quarters every game, maybe when Bri Jones is back they can find some sort of rhythm. They need to abandon the Reese 3pt experiment, she's the best offensive rebounder in league history, let's have her camp corner 3s at 10%.
Loyd looks better than she has in years.
And you can be old when youre nine deep with all star talent.
No one on either of these teams is as old as Mc Bride and Howard
Loyd is averaging 6points on 42.3% TS, it'll go up a little after an ok game today.
Gray is only 4 months younger than McBride and just as crucial to their team. Loyd only a year younger.
JJ 32, Stewie turning 32 in 2 months.
McBride is turning 34 not 35+.
Fair enough. Loyd’s threes arent going in and that’s fine. The one thing you can count on her to do is shoot. 47.6 on two is huge. It’s her second best number of her career
New York is just much better than Las Vegas.
Las Vegas has a lot of flaws but if Wilson is playing good luck
Sabrina cleared for Sunday game.
They looked good vs the Dream, before that though not so much. Last year it was just wait till they get some games together and it just never happened. They had a 9-0 start where they crushed but it was rough rough times after that.
These ladies all defintely have some juice for the commissioner’s cup thing for as long as theyre still alive in it
Salaun is legit, but she'll need Chennedy to self-destruct, that's just a couple losses away, hell couple wins where she doesn't get shots could be the end, or just a rainy Tuesday.
Malonga is certainly MY most improved player. She’s a second year player and who knows what people will vote on or why. But she’s a certified all-star in the middle
Caitlin Clark had zero free throws and scored 25. I wonder how much she would have had if she got fouled in that game?
She comes in as the fourth favorite at 10:1 for the award. Behind Jess Shepard who was already good. Carleton probably could have been a favorite preseason? I’m very surprised she only averaged 6.5 points last year. So she can easily just get it. Leite another second year player who has been spectacular and deserves recognition. Who knows. But Malonga for me is just a different force all over the court.

Shepard will win most improved player if that's the discussion. She's off to a great start to the season. She will make the all star team and win most improved i think.
