Seems like an easy solution would just be to rank all the qualifying teams based on pts then GD and the top team gets to choose their R32 opponent, then 2nd chooses, etc. and set the bracket that way.
Or if you don't want to force them to choose just have top qualifier play weakest qualifier, and so on.
You can't do this because of scheduling.
The games are staggered so that teams who played earlier will also start the knockout rounds earlier.
There are no off days until much later.
I expect this American midfield to lose the ball a lot (not that anybody is or should be watching this)

Aaronson has been bad so fully admitting I was wrong on playing him more. Gio Reyna has been invisible. "Benny Feilhaber but a dirtbag" is not enough to be in his position anymore.
