I know, it’s tough to keep track with 82k posts.

Is it tougher than keeping track of multiple accounts and personas with 10k-20k posts each?

I'll be in Paris and Bordeaux this week and will report back.

Those areas aren't expected to reach 40C again during your stay.

sure but many frenchmen will not have washed in the interim so results should still be valid

The heat wave has resulted in all-time records being set in France, Germany, and many cities in Belgium & the Netherlands.

June records were set in Switzerland & the UK.

Lake Powell hits it lowest level since being filled in the 1960's.

The Colorado River system provides water to 40 million Americans and 5 million acres of farmland.

Bordeaux will be 36.7C during my stay. Not 40C obviously but I don't do well in heat, AT ALL. Never been 100F in Buffalo (Lake Erie aka the natural AC and snow machine helps).

Heat is not equal either. High temperatures hit a lot worse in areas with high humidity, because your sweat will not evaporate, making it impossible for your body to properly regulate temperature. So pay attention to the combination of the two.

The problem also hits Europe extra hard, because these heat waves are hitting regions that used to be temperate. Housing, commerce and infrastructure is simply not built for this kind of heat.

France reported over 1,000 extra deaths as a result of the recent heat surge. It is mostly people over 65 who just can't handle it.

Eastern US will join the heat wave party in the coming days

Water levels at Lake Powell

It's tough keeping up with all the national temperature records being set in recent days.

Pretty much all of Central Europe.

And Western Europe.

And the Sun.

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

He did. Two of them. Obviously not really big ones.

Humor is also a common way to be funny.
