Graham was as interesting character.
One one day he would sum up a problem that Trump or someone else was mishandling, and do so in the most accurate, complete and fearless way, complete with a solution on what should be done - with that solution making 100% sense. And he could do that in a convincing manner with passion and clarity.
The next day he could use many of his same speaking and persuasion skills to put forth a position on an issue that made no sense at all to anybody, and he would outline a resolution that would probably be voted as "the worst option" amongst his peers, or anyone knowing exactly what the problem was.
He was bright and influential. Always articulate, but oddly inconsistent.
