Hey NutNut, hope you're enjoying your blog!

Five posts in a row qualifies as a blog imo.

I don't disagree.

I think of it kinda like a time capsule where we bury artifacts from a particular era and leave them behind for someone in the future to discover.

Instead of burying physical artifacts, I'm leaving behind a record of human behavior in response to a rising apocalypse.

When the next generation of government leaders takes over and is faced with the horrible resource allocation decisions which may cause them to withdraw resources from old Boomers like me .... I can point to these threads and beg for mercy. I will have some evidence that I tried.

Imagine the climate change version of the Nuremburg Trials. That's the future and it's arriving a lot quicker than people realize.

There is a certain morbid fascination with this story.

It's got a lot of parallels to a horror movie but it isn't fiction. Every day we wake up and the monster creeps a little closer and looms larger.

Abrupt climate change will be kinda like when the creature bursts out of the astronaut's belly in Alien. Most of the astronauts die and the one that survives has to go through some gnarly ****.

I think it's fair to begin the conversation about the version of involuntary population downsizing we prefer.

You could always revisit the thread you made that began the conversation. As you know, id argue that some of the your policies would nicely lead to some population downsizing.

Sounds like fun!

Carry on, soldier!

Go ahead .... try bolstering that hypothesis with some data.

Let's try and stick to the scientific method formula72.

That involves supporting one's hypotheses with observations or reasonable argument as to how my proposals lead to involuntary population reduction.

Also ... there is some nuance here. I think that some voluntary population downsizing is advisable. What we're talking about here is involuntary downsizing.

I think your threshold for argument is low. It seems to involve offering a claim with no basis.

Takes one to know one.

Somehow I'm not surprised you don't even know what a blog is.

Please humor me and show us exactly where I am blogging. Thanks!

These proposed gas-fired plants, which would be dedicated to serving data centers, are expected to generate 143 gigawatts of electricity, enough to power the state of California nearly three times over,

The power plants would also release nearly 662 million tons per year of greenhouse gas pollution,

These plants alone would increase global emissions by nearly 2%.

Would you not agree climate change is a world problem? I saw someone posted China leads the way in electric car usage but they also are adding 40-50 coal fired power plants

Though your right on these data centers using a ton of power and I heard water as well

Climate change is indeed a global issue. I've been pretty consistent about that from the beginning and my political proposals involve global cooperation and jurisdiction over emissions.

That was legit funny! Well done!

The dinosaurs couldn’t do anything about what happened to them.
Are we really so stupid that we are going to kill ourselves?

The earth is going expel humanity like they never should’ve been here to begin with.

The GOOD news is that ranting and raving on social media about it will no doubt prompt swift action by the movers and shakers.

Thank you for sharing!

I am not sure how you are blaming air quality from forest fires on climate change ?
