2024 FF sit/start thread
This was very helpful for me last season so here we go again!
Last years OP:
We're less than a week away from the season starting, so let's get a pick my lineup thread going. Some useful guidelines I would suggest:
- If you're asking a question, it'd be nice if you gave answers on someone else's question at the same time. Thread works better when there's more feedback all around
- Please list the opposing team for your players, and if pertinent, timings of games. Matchups matter, as do timings - it is not unusual to have something where you're asking two out of three playe
My WRs are Chase, Puka, London, Nico, Rice, Flowers. I’m inevitably gonna have some tough calls. I can only start 4 of them
Before the game I'd have told you that Chase, Puka, and London are autostarts until we see evidence that they should not be.
Nico vs Rice is going to be the tough call every week.
I've got Flowers comfortably last.
After the game I'm a lot higher on both Rice and Flowers, but I don't think they break the top 3 until one of those top 3 doesn't look like they will live up to the pre-draft hype (either through injury or general ineffectiveness).
I have kind of the same decision to make, pick one in ppr:
London vs PIT
Collins @IND
Nabers vs MIN
Already started Rice vs his Pacheco so we are pretty even. Opponent has Stroud if that makes any difference.

I understand that’s your opinion and that’s reasonable, but fwiw, the reason I asked is because the projection between Rice and London was .5pts difference and Nico/Rice/London were projected wr11/12/13 this week
I don’t think anyone besides Chase and Puka are auto starts in my wr room
I had Nico a bit ahead of both London and Rice due to game environment
I’m not sure I made the right decision even now, but I did bench London, but I don’t think asking was crazy which is how you made it sound haha
4 pt pass TDs, -2 INT
4 pts if your QB's team wins & -2 if they lose
jayden daniels @TB (WSH is +155 to win)
Derek Carr vs CAR (NO is -200 to win)
They way I look at it is daniels EV for the win/loss bonus is .4 while Carr's is 2 so essentially carr starts with 1.6 pts over daniels. I'm still leaning daniels.
PPR
pitts vs PIT
hopkins @CHI
Daniels and Pitts.
PPR gonna need a flex
Dobbins v LVR
Palmer v LVR
Moss v NEP
Listed in the order ESPN has them but I'm leaning Palmer. Thoughts?
Id be Palmer by a decent amount
I like Moss, but I also think Palmer sucks, so I’m biased.
Dobbins is tough to play until we see it.
Ideally, but it’s definitely possible that offense completely falls apart given the situation.
I still think Moss sees 15+ touches. Him and Brown should be busy.
in full PPR, Ladd or Montgomery? I think Monty. It's gonna take some time for McConkey and the Chargers I think. Rams/Detroit ought to be high-scoring.
Monty for me in w1
Montgomery was RB6 last year in PPG and is coming back to the exact same offense. Def playing him over a rookie WR with a QB coming off injury playing in a new offense.
Sit one: mohstert dandre swift or Chris Godwin
Need 1:
Rodgers @ SF
Herbert vs LV
Cousins vs PIT
Maybe not the right thread but how much of your ww budget are you bidding on J Hill this week?
Full PPR and .25 PPFD

Probably need a little more context. I'm not looking to break the bank on Hill but it comes down to who you have at RB now, how bad you need help and who you need to drop
Te premium start one
Taysom
Fant
Otton
Juwan
Pick 3, 0.5 ppr
Conner vs LAR
Dobbins @ Car
J. Cook @ Mia
Etienne vs Cle
J. Mason @ Min
Metcalf @ NE
