2024 FF sit/start thread
This was very helpful for me last season so here we go again!
Last years OP:
We're less than a week away from the season starting, so let's get a pick my lineup thread going. Some useful guidelines I would suggest:
- If you're asking a question, it'd be nice if you gave answers on someone else's question at the same time. Thread works better when there's more feedback all around
- Please list the opposing team for your players, and if pertinent, timings of games. Matchups matter, as do timings - it is not unusual to have something where you're asking two out of three playe
Start 2 in 0.5ppr:
Pickens (vDAL)
Worthy (vNO)
Hunt (vNO)
DJ Moore (vCAR)
Pittman (@JAX)
Mattison (@DEN)
Leaning Pickens and Pittman but feels like a complete dart throw really
Another start 2 0.5ppr:
Etienne (vIND)
DJ Moore
Worthy
Ford (@WAS)
Keenan Allen (vCAR)
Leaning Moore and Ford here but Etienne is projected a fair bit higher than Ford so…
Thoughts? 4pt/TD
Purdy vs. ARI
Fields vs. DAL
Fields, both are great plays this week though
I can’t believe i have to ask this, but with the Carr injury, I really don’t wanna play Olave
Pick 1 ppr
Olave vs TB
Wicks vs Ari
Tolbert vs Det
Odunze vs Jax
Rattler seems really into Olave, but definitely a dicey spot. At least Rattler has an arm and isn’t afraid to throw it. His problems in college were more decision making and taking sacks.
I heard the jets dback is hurt, and kalil Shakir also hurt. is that enough to take a shot on keon Coleman?
he's projected to score 8.14 by fantasy pros right now. do we know how much those injuries are already factored in to that projection?

I wouldn’t play him. He’s projected as the wr57 by Thorman this week. He’s a player I’m holding onto for late season potential, but I really want to see him perform before I play him in managed
Non PPR pick one
BTJR @CHI (in London)
Dobbins @DEN
PPR pick one
Flowers vsWAS
Bucky @NO
Ekeler @BAL
Higgins @NYG
0.5 PPR we prefer Tracy (vs CIN) over Dell (@ NE), yes?
Both obv have increased opportunities (per Nico & Singletary out)

I'd probably give Dell a shot here but it's close.
Non PPR, pick one:
Wilson vs BUF
Sermon @ TEN
Pittman @ TEN
Bigsby @ CHI
Seems like a silly comparison to be making but Wilson has been such a dud.
For reference I'm starting Higgins & Olave ahead of Wilson already.
I’d probably go Sermon.
Wilson definitely way diminished in non PPR. His Y/R blows.

I think BTJ is in must start territory.
You’d be better off RNGing the second one. Going to come down to who gets the TDs.

Tracy. Dell was still kind of rough even after Nico left. But maybe it’s better after a week of game planning.
I'm on the verge of starting Luke mccaffrey over Hopkins and Pittman lol
I think I'm gonna do it
Have a 106.06 to 104.62 lead over my opponent in a .5ppr league. I have James Cook to go if he plays, or I can bench him and lock in the win. Fumbles lost are -2 points and my only real concern is a lost fumble and him leaving the game due to injury.
What would you do?
I'd play him, if only because in my leagues (work/friend leagues) it's in the spirit to start a full lineup. Cook pulling an Olave and sticking you with more than negative 1.44 points would be incredibly unlikely.
Non ppr
Coleman or Shakir at wr we start one
safe floor im 80 percent to win up 20 vs wilson wr
I need 29 and starting Kincaid.
Pick one of Shakir or Ray Davis
League scoring is weighted more toward yardage than TD's compared to standard scoring.
