119kg to below 96kg within 3 months (before September)
I'm a 39yo man.
1,98m tall, 119kg bw, skinny fat, with left over muscles from oly-turding until about 3 years ago...
This is not a goal, but simply my way to proceed.
I've been in the French Foreign Legion, hence why failure is not an opition. The question is not if i'll make it, but only how i get there...
Current stats:
- 16 clean push ups, nose to ground
- 4 clean pull ups, and 6 clean chin ups
- hardly able to walk stairs to 7th floor
Measurements:
- Intensify my 4-min workouts during MTT breaks
- Take daily 1 hour walks on empty stomach through forest, to do daily chin ups
- DGAF, first of all
- Diet
Diet:
I only eat beef, eggs, fish, pork n cheese, snack on cashew nuts and blueberrys, and stuff as much broccoli inside of me, as i can.
I'll call my Diet "6:1 intermediate spazzing", because on each monday, i'll drink two energy drinks, visit friends, smoke weed (legal here, since April), drink a sixpack, and hit the local bar to arrouse some MILFs.
Free coachings for all of you, same as "before and after" photos will be delivered.
If there are any questions, feel free to ask.
If you wanna bet against me at 3:1 in my favor,... Feel free to tell me right here, right now!
Max action - and i'm providing proof ITT - is at my 75€ vs your 225€ over PayPal, only. I dont need your money, but i'll take it.
Bet starts with photos on first of June.
Your word/post is good for up to 25€, if you have a running thread in this sub-forum, for more than a year.
Dear thremp, I dont understand what you want or mean, and im fairly sure you also dont know it yourself.
You very obviously lost the argument, and are now allowed to take the biggest lol (Land O Lakes) by the hand, and waddle right back to OOT with him, where both of you belong.
I'm here just to laugh at you mostly while debunking some poorly thought out claims and basic factual errors.
If you had actually watched the video instead of just linking it, you'd have seen he tries to draw a timeline where he implies causation with Alzheimer's and diet. When you actually have the discovery of it before the implied cause, you can't really make that point.
But I'm sure you actually watched the video and listened to what he said.
I'm eager to see a thread with you and LoL (who openly fantasizes about watching imaginary workout videos of me) both posting from your respective viewpoints and seeing who sticks with it longer. FWIW I like both fruit and steaks. I also frequently enjoy gummy candies, although I may order some jelly beans this year since I like those too.
Ultra processed foods have ofc been tested, long before they got introduced on the free market.
And kawoosh, game, set and match parasense!
Well... Congrats on that single bw pull up that you bragged with in your thread, thremp.
Funny, that a low iq, sick, fat, sugar eating buffoon pretends to laugh about me, in my thread, after failing miserably to counter a single thing i posted... Somehow, i dont see the need to troll your thread and make fun of you...
You are obviously very unsatisfied.
Get better soon
Yeah. It was actually pretty nice to have full functionality in it again. Pretty happy. Didn't log the two I did the day after. Considering I couldn't even lift it OH a year ago, I'm super pleased I can physically do a pullup now.
That's decent/solid, honestly. Keep going!
Might be time to focus on the work-out part of this thread, after all the diet and 10k steps talk.
My pull ups have only slightly increased from max 4x bw with 119kg 10 weeks ago, to max 7x bw at close to 100kg few days ago, when i strained something in my right biceps...
I added dips about two weeks ago, but have been doing them terribly wrong, with elbows far out, and a wide grip, not really opening my chest, which maybe has initiated the biceps problem.
Been doing pull/push/legs monday to saturday for a while, and then upper/lower on same days for about 10 days.
My total volume was a bit too much, considering my diet, i think.
On Monday, I will start again, with really low volume (6 sets per exercise/week) and high frequency (3x whole body each week, mo/wed/fr) with high intensity (all exercises until i just have one rep in reserve) not only until September, but also afterwards with a bit more clean food, until i dont make progress in reps anymore. (At least until WCOOP is over, in early October)
Workouts will be split in half, with first part being done in the forest:
- Pull ups (1x) and chin ups (1x), alternating with dips (2x)
- Ring-rows, alternating with push ups (fingers facing left and right, not to the front / 2x each)
Second part at home, ten minutes later:
Lieing DB lateral raises (2x each side)
DB goblet squats (2x)
DB SLDL (2x)
DB lateral raises + upright rows + shrugs (2x super-set)
Seated bent over DB rear delts (2x)
Overhead triceps extensions (2x)
Curls (one set pronated, one set supinated)
Crunches (2x)
Only using 5kg and 10kg dumbells.
I'll do one exercise after the other, like circle training, then take 5 min break, before doing it the second time. No more greasing the groove during online MTT breaks, straight workouts within about 10 minutes in the forest, plus roughly 20 minutes at home.
I'll log the reps here, until end of August.
All,
Yesterday I ate beef, 3+ cups of rice, four different veggies, some Starburst minis, and four different kinds of fruit. I can probably do a max set of 15 bw pullups, and will have run 50 miles this week assuming I get tomorrow's run in as scheduled.
Just wanted to provide another data point, although the beef was not grassfed nor seared in tallow I rendered myself, so perhaps some confounders in the data? Looking forward to your conclusions.
Today, i ate 100g of blueberries/razzberries, 50g of macadamia nuts, half a red bell pepper and a piece of garlic...
The carnivore diet is mostly meant as an elemination diet, where you eat clean carnivore for 1-3 months, and then slowly add your favourite healthy non carnivore foods, one at a time, to see if you tolerate them, or just got used to them before.
Think of a cigarette or weed smoker, who is loving it. Make him stop for at least a month, then let him smoke again. It'll taste terribly, make him cough hard etc.
It's the same with food for lots of people, who just got so used to the foods that their body doesnt like, but was forced to adapt to, since being a child. For me it's broccoli, brussel sprouts, sauerkraut and some others, sadly...
I Loved to eat all of them, after growing up eating them regularly...
Sugar and ultra processed foods are simply toxic addictions. Noone should consume them.
Regarding your pull ups brag:
You probably didnt live a sedentary lifestyle on lots of alcohol for three years lately, and i'd go out on a limb and guess that you are not 2 meters tall with shoes, weighting 100 kilogramm, currently being on a diet, right?
My best was 18x bw (~92kg), each rep from dead hang, chin above bar, no kipping, when i was in the Legion.
If you can, you should really avoid doing long zone 2 cardio, because it causes irreversible hypertrophy of your heart, same as steroid abuse and alcoholism.
That's why many marathon runners, football players (soccer...) etc die early.
Better try HIIT for short session, if you are one of those guys pausing for 3-5 minutes in between each set at the gym, checking who looks hot in her yoga-pants...
If not, walking a lot should be enough.
I also cannot afford grassfed rib-eyes regularly, but i lately found a local farmer selling permanently grass fed groundbeef for 15,70€ per kilo. I just need to wait until thursday after the next week, because he's sold out atm...
Anyway, grain fed beef is not much worse at all. The differences in most nutrients are just 3-6%, iirc (aside of a few, like omega3).
Though, i for one think grass fed beef really tastes much better, and i much prefer knowing the animals had a perfectly natural life, before i eat them.
I must admit that i like your humor.
Monte, i just read your thread and see you are doing testo and lots of cardio, also talking about getting hammered a day before working out. You combine the three biggest factors of very dangerous heart hypertrophy at the same time...
Broken YouTube LinkI'm 6'4" 190 right now, but back when I was lifting 6x/wk and not a cardiobunny, I routinely did pull-up ladders up to 13-15 reps at 20-25 lbs heavier, repped weighted pullups with 1+ plate, and repped dips with 2+ plates around my waist.
This isn't even to say I was ever particularly strong (I wasn't - many on this forum were and are much stronger than I ever was), just that arguing from a position of perceived authority because you can do some arbitrary physical tasks better than someone else isn't that relevant to the veracity of your claims. Can't a particular diet just work well for you because of how it controls your satiety so you limit calories and lower your bodyweight without having to become a dogmatic follower of some random charlatans?

I'm doing test? Source?
I also drink once a week at most, and take a statin. How much longer do I have?
Statin is bad, but likely much needed, considering your lifestyle. And i dont even know your nutrition.
Of course, carnivore diet could fix your blood pressure... And so but anyway
You lately posted something along the lines of "i feel great today, had a coffee and pinned some test, which have same risk profile" in your thread.
I dont know your source... 😉
U callin Bart Kay a charlatan?
That guy is pure class, m8!
As i mentioned several times, i again eat berries, bell peppers, garlic, walnuts and macadamia nuts now. Hence aint even carnivore anymore, just very low carbs (usually 5-25g per day, with one cheatmeal per 14 days. usually with potatoes, rarely with rice or a burger. I dont want my body/gut-biom to forget how to digest that. In case of war or unexpected poverty, i'd be ****ed).
This thread is pure gold.
I'm eager to see a thread with you and LoL (who openly fantasizes about watching imaginary workout videos of me) both posting from your respective viewpoints and seeing who sticks with it longer.
Happened already. Cliffs: I soul-crushed him just like I always do with you.
Now go have some more tofu out of a bucket.

He literally thinks a person can eat a buffalo's ass each day and not gain weight because the laws of thermodynamics don't apply to humans. At least he wasn't like the other dude that said any mental illness, no matter how severe, can be cured in just a few days of eating a carnivore diet.
I could routinely do 18-20 PUs with strict form when I was ~14/15.
Surely that isn't much farther back than your military service and equally as relevant. Even as recently as 15y ago I could do 5-7 MUs from a bar. I likely will never even attempt a MU for the rest of my life.
LoL,
LoL.
muscle ups, double unders, thrusters. 3 things I knew I would never ever do again the moment I quit crossfit.
Since LoL seems to miss me so much, begging for attention so hard, following me around after i quit the OOT sub-forum, i will give in and answer you once:
You made up some nonsense again, totally twisted what i said, left out the most important things, and obviously dont know what "literally" means.
The word "literally" is not only missplaced there, but also does add absolutely nothing to your argument ever at all, except pathetically showing how utterly uneducated you are.
Of course, that could partly be the result of you stuffing yourself with kilos of toxic plants and genetically modified candy all day, while alledgly running ultra marathons...
I will not let myself down to your level, trying to educate you again. I rather piss against the wind, than on you if you caught fire, or were dieing of thirst in the dessert.
Once again, you are allowed to waddle back to OOT, where the global galactically uninformed posters argue in circles over thousands of posts about hot topics like "should pit bull owners be allowed to breed". You have no business in health n fitness, because neither nutrition nor exercise is something you have any clue about, you fruit loop.
no way that "should pit bull owners be allowed to bread".
Gluten man...

I see... rather than correcting what I said you stated, you're going off on ad hominem attacks and calling plants poisonous.
Sorry man, don't make bets and then get big mad when someone accepts your bet and then rage to him in PM after you stomp off.
You neither agreed to my escrow, nor to my conditions, but thought i'd have to send first, while i also should be the one flying to Vegas for this...
You puss'ed out like a blatant candy ass.
For the record, this fruit loop said he can gain 2kg of bodyweight in 2 weeks with nothing but 8 glasses of water and as much broccoli as he wants.
Then he backpeddled by mentioning several angles he thought he could pull, before i've even set up a contract of what a "controlled environment" means.
You neither agree to my escrow, nor to my conditions, but thought i'd have to send first, while i also should be the one flying to Vegas for this...
You stated the conditions that you state below, and a mod came in and said he'd escrow. I called it a fake bet offer. Then you got big mad, and a 2008 account came in and said he knows you and that you're serious.
Since a 2008 account vouched for you, I accepted your bet and said to get with mark and escrow and I will escrow after you. You said the bet can be anywhere, so I picked Vegas.
Once I accepted, you said you couldn't come up with the money after selling a rental, flying to Vegas, and rescinded the offer.
For the record, this fruit loop said he can gain 2kg of bodyweight in 2 weeks with nothing but 8 glasses of water and as much broccoli as he wants.
Yup, easily. Don't forget I also stated that I would fast, including no water, for 12 hours before the final weigh in.
Then he backpeddled by mentioning several angles he thought he could pull, before i've even set up a contract of what a "controlled environment" means.
I mentioned the angles after you rescinded the offer, detailing why it was not a bright bet (as someone said the very next post after you made the offer), especially since you didn't have the cash.
The controlled environment you stated from the outset, which was to keep me locked in a room with you for 2 weeks so you could make sure I wasn't downing pizzas or something.
In addition to explaining what possible angles could be shot, I explained the ways to ensure shots like that couldn't be made. Again, all of that is academic because you went into great detail about your finances and couldn't come up with the scratch.
Then you got big mad again because you said your backer would back you and I should send him $100K. Just lmao.
You are lieing several times per post, or have more reading comprehension problemlos than i ever thought would be possible.
If you'd want the bet, you'd have answered my PM, and have gotten the name of my former backer.
Instead you stalk me here, put up a shitshow of lies, craving attention and validation, while making a fool of yourself over and over.
You are lieing several times per post, or have more reading comprehension problemlos than i ever thought would be possible.
Maybe you should read the thread again.
If you'd want the bet, you'd have answered my PM, and have gotten the name of my former backer.
Another reason you should read the thread again: I answered your PM in the thread, so I'll do it again here:
You already listed your former backer's name, and I don't give a **** who he is; his name means nothing to me and if you really were serious and didn't want a mod to escrow, I'd have my lawyer draw up the agreement and arrange escrow.
But hey, didn't you already exclude me from the bet? You said my body fat has to be 15% or greater, once you found out that I run ultras. Lmao.
Instead you stalk me here, put up a shitshow of lies, craving attention and validation, while making a fool of yourself over and over.
Yeah, cool. You can just go back to the OOT thread. The mods have no interest in banning you and said so.
It's the same with food for lots of people, who just got so used to the foods that their body doesnt like, but was forced to adapt to, since being a child. For me it's broccoli, brussel sprouts, sauerkraut and some others, sadly...
Broccoli, brussel sprouts and cabbage pretty commonly cause intestinal distress, especially if you have IBS of various degrees. Luckily there's more awareness now than when we were young. What other foods do you react to?
