Another question is with rents so high in Los Angeles how much is he paying for that porch he smokes on? Probably at least $2,000 per month. He had to move to to Los Angeles since he could not Uber in Las Vegas since he does not have a Nevada drivers license. Also all of his smoking makes it hard for Think Blue to live in hotels since hotels ban smokince inside the rooms.

That makes sense. No NV license, move to the state you have a license in. Wouldn't want to just get a NV license, that's just crazy talk.

There's no chance he's renting a place on his own. He either is renting a room or living in his parent's house.

Being frugal is one thing, Not tipping the maid after a hotel stay is inexcusable.

He's an as*-**** for that.

I have no respect for someone who would stiff a maid or others who depend on tips,

most people do not tip the maids

by IQofTwoPlusTwo k

But have you ever used an ice bucket to prepare soft boiled eggs?

His soft boiled eggs are identical to his hard boiled eggs. Classic Rice!

Lol, was looking for this comment. Leaving money in the room for the maids is not standard.

Other day I saw a maid cart that had a stack of slot tickets, I assume most are 0.75c or less, people are probably leaving them as a tip, similar to tipping the cocktail waitress, but I am not sure legally if the maids can cash them, since they are “found” and not directly handed over.

I do leave any singles I have after a stay, but I’m not treating the room like a home either 😂.

Ninth Island reports anti-nomadic policies in effect for F1, New Years, Super Bowl, etc. wherein backpacks are banned from casinos and/or strip.

It begs the question what about an Aria moneyline white cloth bag demurely bungee corded to a roller suitcase? Would this be banned as well? What if someone is on a no room challenge and has to carry a backpack and/or fanny pack?

The Trooper previously reported in 2021 that he leaves his pack in the car, but what about Nomads flying Spirit?

by rickroll k

I'm not sure about that.

Back in the day (pre-covid) when you got daily maid service, I would guess ~75% of people tipped.
Nowadays, with barely any maid service during your stay, it may have dropped below 50%.

Also: Let's not turn this into a 'tipping the maid' thread. Lol

Up and Away reports on the MGM Grand Buffet but fails to mention the ToGo buffet deals and carton stacking strategy for sausage and chicken needs:

Saturday and Sunday has unlimited mimosas deal for $42.99. Apparently for those who need drinks only with no food, one can buy the $21.99 all you can drink package instead which is a great deal.

Meanwhile the Lizard Hunter completes his no room F1 series on his Ebike from the Tropicana Canes and goes across the street to the truck stop seeking companions, hands out free cigarettes to the lizard population, and ends up at the Orleans and is months too late to seek legal advice from any of its poker dealers:

Classic Tropicana today? Or yesterday? The crap all runs together. Has he ever played at Tropicana before? I thought they had just opened a poker room?

Also does anyone know how to obtain these discount Airbnb gift cards he talks about?

Basically the HG Podcaster method is to get the MGM credit card and take it to Smith's to buy $10,000 in gift cards per month including regular $500 Visa gift cards which can be used to buy money orders to deposit in the bank and pay off the credit card, GameOn gift cards which can load to BetMGM to churn online blackjack to withdraw for payment of the credit card balance, and about $1,000 of the remaining monthly funds to buy Airbnb gift cards. After several months maxing out the monthly credit limit at 2x grocery spend you will get Gold Tier for waived resort fees and discounted Airbnb gift cards since you will build up Kroger points which will provide a percentage off of the Airbnb gift cards when you swipe your Smith's rewards card.

Thinkblue said he would make $1,500 a week driving uber and I don't even think he had a single day making over $200, I think I've seen him go over $150 maybe once and usually it has been from 50-100 a day.

Even if he made $150 driving 7 days a week he'd only be at $1,050 a week so it seems like he's not even close to his stated goals.

He constantly talks about top up pay so that means he hasn't been able to even get to minimum wage driving Uber?

Pretty rough, and he's destroying his car in the

ThinkBluePoker is as lazy as they come. Uber is a minimum wage job the way ThinkBluePoker does it.
I doubt ThinkBluePoker averages $100/day driving Uber.

I am 99% sure ThinkBluePoker is living with a family member.

if you google it and find studies it's always well under 30%

vegas may get more than usual due to the vacation and free wheeling nature but it's definitely not the norm

I'd be pretty pissed if I had a room next to Diesel's and had to smell his culunary delights wafting under his door every day. His cooking videoes are a total car crash. I defy anyone to look away.

I saw today's title and didn't want to click watch and waste 15 minutes. Yet I did. I couldn't help myself.

Looked like he was cooking dog food.

He's in his late 30s/early 40s I'm guessing, I wonder what the end game is. Does he think a switch will magically flip and he'll become a professional sports bettor and mid stakes poker pro? If he was a winner and capable of doing this wouldn't he have a bankroll and just be doing it now rat

common theme with all these people who refuse to work for the man and want to be their own boss (TB. ELD, Pboy, BK, maybe Trooper too): they aren't disciplined to be their own boss and be productive. they don't put much effort into being better or making a real profit in their chosen "career"

Right. They wanna do just enough to get by day by day or week by week. Maybe have a little stowed away but not enough for a future.

You are giving them way too much credit.
I suspect they think they discovered a secret to financial success and assume they will don't need to even work, or at least "well, it has only been 5 hours but I'm tired, I'll just work extra tomorrow", and then they work 3.5 hours the next day with the same pathetic rationalization that they can always make it up.
and then they aren't even making enough to get by and resort to begging for freebies, making slurries in their hotel room, asking for stakes, or running home to mom and dad

I remember ELD made a video once which said anyone can make $20,000 a year with poker with enough hours but it can only be sustained if one reduces expenses under $20,000 per year.

I think ELD has a sweet spot now with the summer dealing job wherein he can make up to $37,000 per year and still get the free New York health insurance.

it seems like a common theme is misplaced pride and ego, I think them calling themselves their own boss and being broke is better than them having a regular low wage job somewhere and having to admit to themselves and the world that they're not special.

Some days I feel jealous of their "freedom" because it reminds me when i was younger and had little to no responsibilities. But being a loser stops being cute the moment you're not in your early 20s and that's no way to live.

I thought pman was in his early 20s and just a young kid figuring out life but when I was realized he was nearly 30 I realized he's just a giant manchild loser that mooches off his dad and can't see him in the same light anymore.

It's actually funny that TBC is the only one that actually plays and profits from poker (outside of Diesel who makes $10/hour) and he's the most unadjusted one out of all of them. They should all ask TBC for tips on how to play. They won't though since they all think they're profitable players despite their results, bankroll and life says otherwise.

Think Blue reports that Mcdonald's is now selling the McRib again which is Think Blue's favorite food.

Urban Nomad in Long Beach reports getting a free lunch and laptop from a subscriber and that he will be selling his Camry home and moving to Cambodia for $5 Cambodian rooms in order to not be homeless anymore:

When and if he returns to the USA he will purchase a $2,000 minivan.

And finally, Jacob in Vegas reports on the Wyndham Caesars Diamond apocolypse and the strip has now had three consecutive months of decreased gambling revenue compared to the same months in 2023. And that a man is reported to have been walking around the Venetian with saggy pants and that Venetian security attacked him and he was in a coma and lost teeth.

This is a pure bullseye.

These guys are obviously not even getting by when they have to use every trick in the book to even survive-everything from starve themself to mooching of their parents to making sardineslurry for dinner.

...

Rice Diesel hasn't made $20K playing poker any year since 2021.

by iwasbanned k

Rice Diesel hasn't made $20K playing poker any year since 2021.

For a massive out of this world nit as Rice, he would have to go on such an absurd heater in order to win 20K+ in a year from playing poker.

Either that or he have to play an absurd amount of hours, like 2500-3000 hours a year basically living at the tables folding waiting for the nutz around the clock 7 days a week.

Hey all:

Here is something about El Diesel that I don't think anybody else has brought up (maybe I'm wrong?).

If he is such a professional & doing so well, why not have him be an example to incoming Freshmen at Cornell & 1st year law students?

He can do a 10 minute video showing his day, his results, his strategy, and his future plans. He can discuss how his education helped him achieve his position in life! That can be shown to potential students on the school's interweb sites & possibly also shown at orientation.

Does even Diesel think his skool would do such a thing?

If they did, it would be a WARNING video to their potential students.

To be fair to El Diesel, he is NOT the only vlogger out there like this. Though, perhaps he is the only one with the education that he has?

Thoughts?
