Decided to call it at around 6pm, I have had 3 hours sleep in the last 40+ hours, and could feel myself really achingWon a big pot with a turnt gutter with pair vs AAxx who is all in drawing deadThen limo call bad KKxx and flop K K x and win another big oneFinally cashed outChip porn, in for 1200, out for 4.3k!A little detour in the uber, and the first of many in n outs! How much do you buy in for in that game?
To someone outside of the US who plays PLO4/5/6 mostly, Vegas 1/3 NLHE probably seems like a weird comedy movie without a plot line lol.
Question, is there a reason that UK has moved on from PLO4/5, did it happen organically, was there a concerted effort amongst rounders to expand into PLO6. Are legal casinos and cardrooms spreading this where you are from?
As an PLO/PLO8/BigO player I have never had anyone really say why this has kind of happened in one place internationally, care to elaborate?

A really good nights sleep, about 10 hours, and im up and considering all options. I could genuinely turn back over and sleep some more, but I can do that when im home!
I message Paul, hes been up a few hours! And not slept much, so it looks like we are going to bail early from the room and likely go to Aria, seems people do sleep in vegas, the numbers dont lie...

Day 3 10.30am
We pre check in at Aria, $20 tip got us a high level strip view, but we get the keys in the afternoon.
I dive straight into a juicy 2/5 nl, got stationed by a wild indian guy with 95o vs my QJhh on 3 4 4 hh turn 5 river A. I bet all streets and somehow he calls oop with the 95o
But run hot in the plo game, nut flush draw, gutshot and bottom pair somehow wins me half of a big pot 3 way
Then a few other pots, and somehow up $1400, so about 900 for the session.
Paul wants us to move about, so we are now at the Venetian for some 1/3 NL and the $300 tournament and likely some yard bird for lunch

We bounce to Venetian, sit in a dreadful 1/3 and dust 500 in a pot fold and a couple hands

One of my favourite meals last time, chicken and waffles with some hash browns, same for P minus the waffles. The borbon maple, and honey hot sauce are absolute bangers!!!

Straight in, level 4, 200/400 and first hand i witness is an open to 3k, and there are some big stacks already

Utg opens 10x, 4 callers, all in on flop, no one has better than 2nd pair.
Which means they are down to 11, 10 make day 2, and there is CHUNKS of chips in play. At one point with 20 something left the average was 80bb
We get up to 40k, but miss 2 huge combo draws, vs bags of shite hands, and bust A6 in a juicy one, when chip leader peals pre multi way with 42 and bangs off his gutter vs my Top pair.
Jump in some omaha cash, win 500 in short order, the game isnt great, you know its bad when i move to a holdem game
Move to 3/5
Get stacked in a double board hand with top set on one and two pair K flush draw on other
He goes runners to scoop with jis worse 2 pair and Q flush draw.
I semi tilt and start blasting, in3bet A2o and flop 2 2 7, and stack a guys slow played overpair
Game breaks, move to 2/3 and bluff 2 pots, show then stack 2 guys back to back hands when i flop a straight and then a house.
Moved back to a 3/5, and just seen Paul has made day and the money in the $300 100k!
Nice to hit hands in holdem with the loose tourist bluffer image
Just wrapping up. Playing last bomb pot plo double now, which im not putting anymore money in...leaving up 1200 at the venetian, after 300 in the comp, and some losses earlier on, and a $120 lunch

Just checked in to Aria, 5 nights here.
Room is nice, but these mega resorts keep you fit! The place is massive and your walking for days.
View isnt great, but its a few mins to the poker room, i will let the pics do the talking

The one thing I remember most from staying at Aria is the long walk from the room to the elevator!
Although this TR seems exhausting for me, it's clear that you are doing Vegas right btw 😀 (very little sleep and a lot of play)
Day 3 11pm
Sat in a must move 1/2 plo, win 500 nice and quick, got moved to the main game
Game was big action and value, got it in vs wild mexican with AA42 double on AQ3 r and lose to a flush TWICE with his 3369 1 suit of clubs! $1500+ pot
Finally stacked him after he gave away most of MY chips, and ended the night at 2am down about $300.

Day 4 - 1pm
Wow, finally got a good solid sleep, woke up a few times but crashed back and woke up properly at 11.30am+
Paul had a good morning, bashing up some germans at the Horseshoe and hitting a 3 x rollover high hand with a 1 card house.
We meet at Caesers, ramseys pub and grill, and have 2 Idiot sandwiches. Was good. Likely will check out caesers new poker room or move over to Bellagio for some cash games, before we hit up MJ one at Mandalay bay tonight

Yes, was there all day, and P is back tomorrow for day 2...hes working for me and my 20% should show a profit of some sort.

We sit in some terrible 1/3 games and i manage to run well to get even and Paul book a win.
We stroll over to Bellagio, usually my favourite for holdem, up 100 in 1/3 i move to 2/5.
Im card dead and play too loose, and when i finally make hands like AK im rivered in big pots vs seat 1 or 8, the in everypot kinda stations, and im paying them off.
QQ lose small all in v AK
Win a nice on with AKcc v Q10cc on 6 3 2 ccx turn 6 river 6. Nice ace high hold.
But it all came crashing down, a few bad call downs and bluffs, we find QQ, make ot 40 over 2 callers, bb makes ot 180, the seat 8 station flat calls 180. Too rich to fold QQ pre (for 400 effective vs 3better) so shove 625. He calls all in, seat 8 sigh calls it off...

Day 3 8pm
Mandalay Bay was busy, we got into the show nice and early, and get the good news its quiet and we got upgraded seats, row 6! Yes please!!! Near perfect seats and an excellent perfromance, highly recommend this show.
Shoot some dice at MB, down small, on my roll i hit my numbers and got them loaded before busting
Back to Aria, a slice of pizza at moneyline and we jump into the 1/2 plo game, book an 800 win, so some damage control from Bellagio today
2am now, trying to sleep
Send some heat for Paul and his day 2 tomorrow at V $300 event.

Day 5 - why you coming fast!
Pauls up and out early, and soon learns hes a whole day early for this day 2. So he does some shopping and does his own thing.
He reminds me, that I said I would 1000% play another day 1 if it didnt clash with our MJ plans...well there is a day 1 today, at 11am.
I get a taxi to Palazzo, and stop by the Gran Lux, our go too favourite, grab the parm crusted pork chop, yum!!!
229 entries today, an in less than 2 hours i turnt my 30k stack into 93k. Average is 47k and i know i missed some value with 1 hand, but we will take it.
Got a very very soft table, hope to increase slowly, got 2 big stacks to my right, nice set up
Hands of note were set of 8s on 8 10 K ddx and getting a check raise in on flop, and bet turn for a juicy one
Then get 3 streets with KJ on K 5 8 2 8
Lots of other small pots and steals, lets go!

We peak at 95k, a few small pots lost, a few small ones won.
I get into a big pot with the table whale, i squeeze 1010 for a 4bet to 30k, and put the last 40k in on A J x and lose to QJ, guy was the superstar of the table, and on super tilt for losing a big one the hand before. Maybe its a punt, given structure but the table been replaced by mostly decent players.
Anyway, we take a break, and place a random sports bet on the maples late into the game
We splash the profit in a slot machine or two, no good but lots of fun.
We team up with 200 each and shot some dice, first shooter and me were average, but some old guy really surprised me and hit some numbers for us, and lit up the high numbers, and left us hunting snake eyes for a 1k bonus bet payout. But he fails, we still turnt our 400 into nearly 800 and plenty of fun!
We then uber to china town, FAIL! most places closing. So we head back for our go too Peppermill!
We skip the usual breakfast options or steak & eggs and go totally different, bbq and buffalo wings and the appertizer sampler (inc onion rings, mozz sticks, chicken fried breast and some shrip with selection of sauces!
Finished it all off, no room for dessert, a quick stop off at 7-11 for some supplies and its back to the Aria for a few hours PLO cash before bed.
