Damn. Love is one I've always planned to see but haven't for whatever reason. I guess I have another excuse to plan a trip now.
taxi union wins again.
imagine if the monorail actually went to the airport like it was supposed to.
Imagine if the monorail used Reid Airport shuttle-train type of cars instead of the present monorail cars which are cramped and impossible to ride with luggage.
You can't retrofit the LV monorail into a transit system which it was never designed as.
Where is the best place for PLO? I’ve been checking Bravo and usually only see games at Aria or Wynn. Seems like it doesn’t really run out there other than those two rooms
Correct
What is nowadays the best way to avoid big transaction or currency change fees?
I only have a German bank account and if I withdraw Cash at the ATM or whatever they charge ridiculously high fees or give the worst exchange rates.
Can I wire to a Casino and then get Cash at the Desk? Amount is around 10k € approximately

When traveling abroad (American traveling to Europe and Asia) I always got the best rates withdrawing from ATMs. I also use credit cards that do not impose an exchange surcharge.
When exchanging cash in Vegas nothing beats

They rate 4.6/5 on Google and gave me the best rate by far to convert Canadian cash to US dollars.
Does anyone know if there's anywhere on the strip that sells Golden Knights merch?
Not sure if serious, but there's a VGK store across from the Park MGM pool entrance. It's on the way to the game if you are coming from the Aria tram. There are other sports stores selling merch, but the one in Park is all VGK.
At that point you might as well walk over to the stadium and visit the team store. It's open daily from 10 am to 7 PM.

The store at the Park MGM is kind of dinky, but walk another 5-10 minutes and you're at The Armory.
Hope it's okay to post this again as I didn't get any replies - think it got lost in a discussion about centripetal sex and power-lifting shorts 😮
I don’t think it got lost. Just almost no one voluntarily drinks miller high life. All casinos have free beer better than high life so I don’t think many would know. Sorry.
Yeah Miller is an easy coast brand of piss water. Unless you grew up drinking it as a kid, ain't no one having that.
Perhaps a Corona instead? Anything actually

I'm always amazed at the people drinking Miller, Bud, Coors, etc. in a casino when they can get any other (and much) better beers for free, too.
If anyone cares, you can get $3 PBRs (the Frank Booth special!) at the Orleans this weekend as part of their Rockabilly celebration.
"Better" is always relative but at least the next price level of popular brands at the licor store including imported stuff like Heineken.
I think most Strip casinos also have a couple things considered "craft beer".
(FWIW, I'm a co-owner in a craft beer brand and don't mind drinking something super easy like Coors Lite. Definitely don't need an IPA while playing poker)
I would look for any local craft beers the casino might have first, and try those. After that I would look for my favorite main stream IPAs. Corona would be my go to if nothing sounded good and I wanted to take it easy.
CET used to stock Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (my goto, #1 by volume) and maybe others by SN but I always found it a bit skunky, like it had been stored improperly or not served cold enough (IMO). I think MGM has some Four Peaks offerings, Kilt Lifter being the most main-stream, but Hop Knot and 8th Street Ale are both very good (not too threatening) options. I know I've seen some Laguinitas IPA taps, just not sure which casinos have it.
