If you come from abroad there is a $10k limit for how much you can bring in and out, fwiw.
This is not true at all. There is no maximum amount you can bring in, but if it's over $10K you just have to fill out a simple form. But that's not the same thing as a $10K cap or anything like that.
I am eagerly awaiting this TR where the pleasure is concerned about TSA and $5k, but not at walking from the polo towers to where ever with that amount on him.
I don't think OP is even flying international
It looks like I will be traveling to Vegas for work in April and would like to extend this trip for a week or so to grind low level NL cash games.
I do not need a fancy room, just clean and comfy and would like to spend as little as possible.
Will be playing over 10 hours a day.
Where will I get best poker rate?
Thanks
try calling the hotels directly
South Point, Resorts World, Horseshoe. Aria, MGM Grand, Orleans
TSA always makes me hold my cash in my hand when I go through security and then they take a quick look to make sure there's nothing hidden inside the roll. Never a question about what it's for or where it came from or anything. Pretty tame actually and I'm about as anti TSA as you can get.

Do you have TSA Precheck? YMMV but I'd assume they wouldn't even make you do that if you did have it (judging by how often I've forgotten to take out a giant bottle of water in my carry-on or other things that should've been but weren't flagged bc I have it)

dumb question but how do you get cash from vegas when you travel?
My bank has a a limit of withdraw and shoul I call them to try to lift it or whast a good option? I sadly dont have chase or wells fargo or a big bank like tat
We have a small bank and always let them know when we are traveling (in case they think it's fraud) and when we need our limits increased.
Personally, I don't want to carry around that much cash.

I do not. Only fly once or twice a year.
I like poker and I like Vegas so I hang out here a lot.
Are there some other good places in 2+2 I should check out
There is usually something fun going on in NVG, I don't think I have seen you over there, so maybe you are not aware of it.
Other Other Topics for random threads and/or dumpster fires.
Also, NVG for moderately interesting things and/or dumpster fires.
Politics for pure dumpster fires.
Since you like poker, search for “Trooper” or “Diesel” and you will learn to love the game.
I got a random question for the Vegas experts on here.
Which poker room is most likely to spin up a new mixed game table if requested?
Coming with a big group of friends, and if say 5 of us want to play a crazy pineapple/Big O mix, where could we go that would start up a new table dealing this (ideally open to the public too).
I know some casinos like Sahara are happy to cater for groups and these types of requests, but I think there’s not a big player pool there that would hop into the game.
Caesars Palace say they’ll spread anything with enough interest…
Keen for everyone’s thoughts!
