7. Fix at Bellagio (i have no idea i read the description, this could be ANYTHING) link
8. SW Stakehouse at the Win, obv stakes, for some reason wynn has the worst godamn website ever so no link=/
9. Bouchon at the Venetian (french, head chef is Thomas Keller, guy is fcking sickkkk) link
anyway, add to my list or tell me to avoid places on my list for reasons.
First weekend trip in many moons. Did Partage dinner, LPM brunch, Kaiseki Yuzu dinner. DidnÂ’t have a bad bite of food all weekend but did spend a grand between all three (had wine and sake pairings at each). Best bite of trip: oxtail signature dish at Partage. The bacon at LPM is ridiculous though as is the Wagyu dish at Kaiseki Yuzu. Photo dump:

Wanted to add some context:
Chef Yuri at Partage came and talked to us for about ten minutes. Really nice guy. I had tried getting a last minute reservation at Kaiseki Yuzu for the trip but they were full but they’re good friends so Chef Yuri made a call and suddenly the next night (Saturday) my party of 2 was in a pvt room. So major kudos to Chef Yuri. His recs list largely mirrors this thread - has Edo as his number 1 Spanish place for example - and he was just really kind to us.
LPM brunch might be the best value on the strip right now and is a meal you could literally take with your buddy, wife, mother in law, whatever and everyone would love it I think. Two brunch sets, coffees, bloody marys was 300 all in after tax and tip. I would go here once a month if I lived in Vegas. I used to always do Bouchon and Tableau for breakfast and this is as good if not better.
Kaiseki Yuzu’s largest menu costs 280 now and that’s a pretty high price point but, as others say and even my bad photos show, they’re phenomenal with ingredients and presentation. It’s an adventurous meal, though, and maybe not one I would recommend as someone’s first Japanese experience because there’s just a ton of subtlety going on. Sake pairing was 80 so with tax and tip for two of us that was 1k. That’s getting into Guy Savoy or Robuchon territory but honestly we were tired of eating French food and wanting something adventurous. Very glad we did, loved it, but just a warning that it ain’t cheap.
so many craveable meals to be constructed from that loosekanen of a photo dump
makes me feel like living some jonesing stoned jonathan livingstone seagull existence
ducking under plastic flaps of vegas seafood bins to pluck flesh and carapace from the mouth of rats
Have you had the bacon at Bavette’s? I need a comparison.
I have not had other bacon like that in Vegas. IÂ’ve lived in Texas for the last few years and I described it as such: Texas people always bitch about how bbq outside of Texas doesnÂ’t have the right smoked flavor and I generally agree with them. This, for what itÂ’s worth, tastes like an elite piece of Texas bbq. Very fatty. Like the best piece of pork belly I ever had. Sweet and smoky both. Really loved it.

LPM brunch migh
Thanks for the comments and pics. It looks amazing.
Went to Zuma tonight, absolutely incredible dinner and easily the best Japanese place I’ve been to.
Burning History cocktail - similar to an old fashioned, 8.5/10
Other cocktails 8/10, don’t remember names
Pork belly skewers - 10/10 unbelievably good
Sushi rolls (spicy yellowtail, fatty tuna, spicy tuna) - 9.5/10 very high quality sushi, need to try nigiri next time
Spinach with sesame dressing - 10/10 light but with a creamy sesame/peanut butter type dressing that was awesome
Skirt steak - 10/10 perfection
Wagyu dumplings - 9/10
Miso glazed cod - 9/10, great sauce
Chilean sea bass - 7.5/10 good but not on the level of the other dishes, everyone agreed on this one
Scallops - 8.5/10 I’m not a big scallop fan but they were cooked perfectly and sauce/seasoning was solid
Baked potato - 10/10 this was shockingly good, I could eat this as a meal. One of the best side dishes I’ve had anywhere.
Desserts - 9.5/10. Chocolate hazelnut bar, baked cheesecake, and chocolate mousse. All of the ice creams and sorbets on the side were 10/10.
Total came to $729 for 4 people including 6 cocktails. Expensive but well worth the money. It was comped thanks to my friend but I’d for sure pay $220 to have all of those again. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to really.

that is some lovely ceramics.
zuma is just the best, been there a couple of times, just amazing.
and, not just the quality of the food, also the ambience, the service etc... perfection
